I lived in a 3rd floor apartment at Pepper Tree in 2012. They (management) are misleading about the "free" wireless internet. All of my devices were unable to connect because of the signal strength. I ended up having Mediacom hook up internet to my apartment, which is an expense they should have covered. My truck was broken into 3 times in the course of a month. The parking lot was constantly filled with trash and the occasional drug needle. Cops were often present, as the complex did a poor job of screening tenants and a poor job of taking care of problem residents. My apartment itself was fine, I only wish it would have had washer and dryer hook ups.

This place is terrible to rent from. Our balcony has rotten boards which we've contacted management SEVERAL times and nothing has been done. Our air has been for 3 days and mind you its August. The parking lot is disgusting and the neighbors are loud. The pool never gets cleaned out and the laundry mat washer and dryers don't actually work. I would save the min eery and find somewhere else to rent from.

We have been here for almost a month and have not experienced the majority of the issues mentioned in the other two reviews. We do have an upstairs neighbor who is an early riser, but they don't make any more noise than you would expect from normal walking around. We have had a few problems with things like the toilet getting stopped up or something breaking, but they have always dealt with them in a timely manner and the maintenance guys have always been friendly and professional. The internet provided here at the apartments does get slow during high-access times, but we were told that it would when we first looked at the apartments. The apartment manager told us that, if we wanted to have reliable, high-speed internet, we would have to contact Mediacom (their internet and cable provider) and get our own service, which we did for under $20 per month. It is an older building and has some of the problems that you would expect for an older building, but our experience so far has been wonderful.

I'll start by stating that I actually rented a normal apartment and not a town home. I can hear my neighbors above me every morning at 6 am and every night around 11 pm. I've called the cops on the multiple times along with the neighbor beside me. Management refuses to take actual responsibility. There are hundreds of not thousands of cigarette butts in my backyard along with a plethora of broken glass and rusty nails. Kids run around unattended along with pets tied to leashes and left to run around the fore mentioned back yard. Neighbors tend to get drunk and wild and scream, fight and run up the wooden stairs during weekend parties. So far our disposal has backed up twice, our water heater has leaked three times and half of our electrical outlets don't work. The positive is once you walk through your backyard you get to enjoy a decent park. I will never live here, nor anyplace owned by the same company, ever again.

This place is horrible. Mice, bugs, extremely slow internet. Managers are very mean and unhelpful and if they think they can get away with it they lie. Even about stupid stuff like asking what company provides the slow slow slow slow internet. When our air broke it took a week for them to fix and when we complained... the manager tried to say it only took them one day to fix. As if we are gonna forget how long we were sweating in the heat. One repair guy even told us they offered him a free townhome and after he saw it he told them no way and he found his own place. Now that is bad. We should have never agreed to move in here.
