* I have recently reprieved the verbiage in my review. While the property manager showed up a few hours after I posted a scathing review, proving the effectiveness of public indignity, I have likely exacerbated my situation. I will continue to update my review based on the effort of management to resolve my issues versus their effort to retaliate for my opinion. I am at their Delta Estates residence that seems to be falling apart, and not well maintained. I have had a maintenance request for my door chain which has been ignored since 11/15/17. They gave one of my designated parking spots (which I have in writing) away then threatened to tow me out of the one space I had left. The trash bins are constantly over-flowing and rarely cleaned up. There are regular fee increases that are never explained. The manager is incompetent, inconsiderate, and unapologetic. There are a multitude of reasons why they have so many horrible one star reviews. DO NOT do business with these people.

I just moved into one of their buildings 3 weeks ago and I got the wrong mailbox key from the resident manager named Katherine! She told me that it works for my mailbox and she was completely wrong! She also said that they probably switched locks on it and then told me that she would give me a new key. Well that didn't happen! It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received my mailbox key at all. I contacted the resident manager many times by email and by phone and still nothing happened. Then I contact this company and let them know about the issue and still nothing happened! All I got was unprofessional responses and runarounds! I made phone calls and contacted the police on this matter, in which I was told that it is a violation of rights. I contacted another place and was also given phone numbers to contact other state offices that works on code violations and code inspections. Also tenant rights too, and also the Civil Rights Commission. On top of that I was told that anyone tampering with mail would be in violation and a $25,000 fine, including time in prison. I was told that I would get the right mailbox key delivered to me by Marissa and nope, that didn't happen. I waited for 30 minutes by the mailbox to get my key and still nothing. I just moved to this state and can now see why residents and former residents are telling people about their negative experiences. In my case, if there was retaliation, it would be impossible because it is already on record. I am not happy with the service of this company. I just hope they do an overhaul soon and start being professional. Update: I just received my mailbox key from Marissa on Friday, June 22, which makes it 3 weeks and one day after in which I finally received it. She made sure that it was the right key, and also told me that there will be a new resident manager that starts on Monday. I also gave her the wrong key that I was given in the first place, and a fob that I had found in which someone had dropped. I really do hope that there won't be anymore problems in the future... As for the mailbox issue that I had to deal with, both the federal and state had been contacted on the matter within the 3 weeks hold on my mailbox key. That is no longer in my control, as it was already reported and agencies are checking up on the issue on withholding my mail, which was also considered theft by the USPS. It is not a joke to be withholding mail at all, and not good karma either. I have never ever in my life ever experienced this issue before. Also I lost a day of work, which equals unnecessary loss of wages, while they had an annual inspection in which I just moved in just 3 weeks ago. This company should reimburse me for some rent, as for not having the rental contract truly fulfilled without having the right mailbox key and withholding my mail with excuses. I made time for them, called and emailed many a times. There is no excuse for that and no retaliation on their part either, as both the federal and state agencies were questioning on why my mailbox key was being held for 3 weeks. I just hope that this company cleans their act up and has more professionalism. Because the ratings are obviously showing not good signs.

where to begin, first off the apt that I lived in was old and out dated and they are trying to raise the rent through the roof just because everyone else is,without updating anything plus there was no W/D in unit and still wanting to up rent for a crappy apt. When you have issues with your on site Manager at the Crystal Springs location you will have to call here to get it fixed because there property manager there will avoid dealing with issues as long as possible. In my case it was when I called here, and even then pacific crest didnt have any interest in the fact that there property manager wasnt doing her job they just wanted to push me off the phone as though her time was more valuable then mine, failing to realize the fact that there property manager was being unethical, beyond rude and inconvenient. Second they charge you an arm and a leg when you move out, they over charged me by 72.86 cents and my repairs werent but a hand full of small things, and when you call to see why they are charging you so much you get a rude reply Diane was so kind to say oh I just love people like you. How unprofessional can you get just because someone knows theyre getting screwed. this company is as crooked as they come! They will back there crook of a property manager before they give two cents on what there tenants complain about. Beware you will get a fat bill if you leave it trashed. I left it 100% clean and they still charged me $132.66 after taking all my deposit.... would never ever rent from this company again.

The apartment is advertised as one bedroom and 500sqft. I believe this is false advertising as there is no door to the "bedroom" and the interior dimensions are 320sqft. I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the apartment and management team. It took up to three months to have issues resolved while I lived in the apartment. The dishwasher was not even wired after the renovation and required a completely new breaker box to be installed. The apartment has zero insulation and extremely low-quality heaters installed. The location has extreme noise pollution and screeching tires can be heard every time it rains and cars cant make it up the hill. The storage area has leaking pipes that were not fixed over a year after they were reported to management. The laundry room is disgusting with water pooled in the floors and haven't been cleaned in years. It is unacceptable to change the locks and not provide all tenants new keys to the building. I was locked outside in the rain for over two hours and the apartment manager refused to drive to let me in the building. Maintenance threatened to charge me a lockout fee to let me in the building. This is illegal and an entirely unacceptable way to treat tenants. I would strongly recommend steering clear of Melbourne Apartments and any property owned and managed by Pacific Crest Real Estate.

After living at this place for a few months I now understand why so many people live on the streets in Seattle DO NOT rent from this company! The place is DISGUSTING and management is beyond RUDE! I just recently moved out of Vitality on 62nd after only 5 months and it was the absolute WORST renting experience I have ever had. People were smoking in their apartments, mail was being stolen, they don't send you any utility bills for months then send them all at once. Not a single bit of parking anywhere, especially if you get off after normal working hours! Katherine is the on site manager for this place and she is completely uneducated on the rules of Pacific Crest. She would tell me one thing then completely change it after talking to her management who is also completely unresponsive! I called the Marissa (property manager) 3 times and also called the office and left FOUR messages, all of which never received a response! Took them MONTHS to adjust my first months rent because they wouldn't prorate it even though they didn't have my apartment ready for threeeee days after I was supposed to move in! Then charges me a cleaning fee on move in even though Katherine (the on-site manager) did it herself, and not well! After I found someone to take my place for the remainder of the lease I talked to 3 employees and got 3 different rules on turning over a lease; which they didn't let me do anyway! It took them an entire month after I moved out to get me the documents to release me from my agreement, even though my replacement renter was already moved in and paying all the bills! Katherine is rude and uneducated, and you simply just cannot get ahold of Marissa. Aside from the terrible people that run this place, it's a mess. The laundry machines are DISGUSTING! Hair and dirt absolutely cover all of the washers... Gross! The fire alarm was in trouble for over 2 weeks before they had someone come out to fix it. Constantly beeping all day and night! There is constantly garbage allll over the garbage room and the main floor smells like trash. This company earned every bit of their low ratings by multiple renters! UPDATE** Now after tonsss of back and forwarth, they are trying to get me to sign the release document with a date that is THREE months after I moved out. Basically trying to hold me accountable for anything that happened in the month that I was waiting for them to send me the release documents! Such sketchy rental practices!!
