I’ve lived here for over 6 months and although Alexan has amazing amenities, I already know that l will NOT be renewing my lease here. My main concerns: - It’s incredibly frustrating to receive any types of packages here. You either don’t receive a notification from the building that your package arrived, your code does not work, your package is dumped into a huge room with everyone else’s stuff that makes it hard to find, or it gets stolen. I’ve had to leave work early multiple times to see if any of the staff can help me locate my package before they leave for the day at 6pm. - 2nd floor courtyard/dog park area is a nice idea but it’s extremely disgusting. There’s tons of flies, I’ve seen so many dogs pee on the furniture, and the whole area wreaks of urine. They tried to install a fan but it does absolutely nothing. - Multiple areas of dog urine stains in hall ways. - They have 24/7 building security but it still doesn’t help the fact that the area is still not the greatest place to be. There’s TONS of homeless. EVERYWHERE. - Lastly, the office staff is passive aggressive and unfriendly. They don't pick up the phones and take very long to reply to emails. Don't expect your concerns to be addressed. I enjoyed living here but the service should be much better considering how much I’m paying for in rent. I will definitely be relocating elsewhere once my lease is up.
