Went in today to view potential places to live and we loved it!! Close to SDSU, the manger who helped us was extremely helpful (cant remember his name!) He showed us two different places a 2bed 2 bath and a townhouse. Both being fixed up getting ready for new people. He answered all of our questions and more. Hoping our applications get picked!

Dont even apply this apartment because you will lose your application fee. I have a credit score above 800. I was marked unqualified without processing a credit inquiry, and there is no return for the application fee. There are more than 20 people applying one apartment at a time. The manager will tell you there is a good chance for you to get an apartment. But actually you only have a little chance to get one. You will lose your application fee for most of the times. They also asked the applicants to put a 5 star on google.

Peter is THE most personable Manager I have ever met, and I say this sincerely, as I have worked in Property Management in the past. I was really thrilled at all the extra storage inside the unit I looked at and can already picture myself living here! I can't wait!

Villa Del Cerro Apartments is a priceless treasure in the San Diego trove...... IT IS VERY SERENE & TRANQUIL and I can't help but noticed that the grounds and landscaping are kept immaculate. The hunt is over but the true gem is the property manager Peter who had been very excellent in making you feel so welcome and his professionalism was above and beyond answering all your inquiries. Overall, my tour of the property was phenomenal and we cannot wait to call this place our Home .

Wow, this is a hidden gem! What a lovely apartment complex! I can't say enough about the manager Peter, who has been extremely helpful. He assisted me thru the application and stayed in contact with me during the entire process. After showing us the apartment and other amenities he took us back to the office and answered all of our questions. We couldn't be happier about choosing this apartment complex.

I found Villa Del Cerro since more than one friend highly recommended it. I had looked at many apartments in different areas, including Granville, Mission Valley, Tierrasanta, San Carlos etc. before finally decided to move in here. For the same rent, you can get a much more spacious apartment here, which also looks very nice. Other best things about it are: Hearst Elementary School in walking distance, one bus top to SDSU and Windmills Farm market close by.

I like the complex since it is right next door to Windmill Farms Market and in walking distance to SDSU. The apartments look great and the prices are very reasonable.

I have been looking for a suitable apartment for my daughter and myself for a few months now, and was incredibly impressed with the apartments at Villa Del Cerro. Everything was very clean, clearly well maintained, and employed a knowledgeable and competent staff for all my questions, Peter was extremely helpful and professional! This place will be perfect for me since my daughter's school, which I love and would hate to move her out of, is right around the corner, making life way easier for me and her education. So happy I FINALLY found exactly what I was looking for, Can't wait to move in!!

I'm moving in here at the end of the week! I am very excited! They did a very good job at renovating the unit I am moving into! Peter is very very responsive to your needs! If he can make somthing happen it will do his best to get it done and ASAP! I've never met a manager this dedicated to his resident's and so willing to work with you on any concerns you may have. Honestly he has made all the difference in moving into these apartments, so much so that I feel jenson properties should give this man a raise he really works hard!

My sister and I visited Villa Del Cerro while apartment hunting yesterday...we were instantly greeted and welcomed by Peter, the manager. We had been looking all day at different places because we are trying to find a place we love by December. Peter was so amazing and welcoming. We instantly felt like we were home. We got a tour of the entire place, got all the info and had fun while there. We both felt like this was definitely the place for us. I hope by December something will be open so we can move in!! We are willing to wait for something if need be. That is how bad we want to call this place home. Go checkout this complex. It is beautiful, clean, friendly, and conveniently located!!

I've lived here for 9 years and love it. The apartments are spacious, the property is well-maintained, the management company is responsive and helpful, and the location is just outstanding. We're right next door to Windmill Farms Community Market, which is a fabulous grocery store, kind of like Whole Foods, as well as a number of other fine businesses. We're also right on 2 bus lines and close to the trolley (for those who, like me, don't have a car). Rents are reasonable. All in all a great place to live.

I had so many plumbing problems. The Unit is right next to The Main and is The first to get clogged up. Grey sewage water also backs up in The shower with Yuck stuff too. I have pictures of it. The water would get shut off about 3 to 4 time in 30 days in our building for so called emergency reason so when you get home from work it may be off etc. When it Rains it pours water straight down in front of our Apt and floods up about 3 to 4 at a time . The roof above us is rotting wood and so it all leaked down.. I have asked them to put up some flashing but they said no because then the problem would affect someone else maybe . They said they are going to redo the roof about 6 months ago ? Last winter was very very Cold . In the Apt is heating coils in the ceiling that don't work right and is NOT useful. Get a space heater at Costco. I am not going to say anything much but the Management but they gave us 30 days notice to move out of our Apt. With no reason...but they said it's the law we don't have to tell you why..ok whatever play your games Jeson . I always paid our rent on time even when. I was on Temporary State Disability I am Happy to say we and others like us have MOVED ON in life . Blessings to you all.. Aslo Take All Pictures and videos before you Move in DON'T sign anything till you look and go over your Apt before you Move in... They well Take most of your Security Deposit when you move out. They well Rip you Off ... Just Warn that who ever Lives there take lots of pictures of everything before you Move in and mark anything on your check in sheet...

My sister used to live in these apartments a while back and she loved hers so I recently applied here as well. The management staff was friendly, answered all my questions, and were very helpful. I met some of the maintenance staff while in the office and they seem very nice as well. The location is great! Next door is a Windmill Farms, gas station, taco shop, ice cream shop, and a wine store. The local schools in the area are all rated 8 and above and I know personally that they are fantastic. (My nephews go to them). Plus you have the entrance to the 8 Fwy and SDSU across the way. I would highly recommend these apartments!

It is pretty nice place BUT... Even if your being marked very good tenants in previous places; they DON'T care about that. They only care about stupid your credit scores. Like we pay rent with OUR money not our credit card. Supposedly two adult applied together, one with good credit score and one with poor score due to a lot of emergency happenings affect credit score. That is pretty irrelevant that they require BOTH good credit but totally understood for if one had criminal record but come on for credit score. Oh yeah the management hardly give it a chance like call previous landlord for reference. I don't recommend you ones struggling to apply for that place. And don't want you to waste your money on application fee since it is non refundable.

This property has been a mess for years and finally is headed in the right direction! It is a great place to live with great options! Pool, fitness center, laundry rooms and only getting better! It is so close to the SDSU campus as well! Units are being upgraded and great to move into. Maintenance is fast and gets the job done right! Villa Del Cerro is awesome!
