Our Webster community is housed in a historic landmark designed by renowned architect Julia Morgan. The first three floors are occupied by the Envision Academy, a charter school focusing on the arts. The top two floors are home to the 60 private suites that make up Starcity’s first Oakland community, Webster! Each floor features a large industrial kitchens, two communal bathrooms with 4 shower stalls and 4 toilet stalls, and 2 stand alone bathrooms.

So, what’s coliving? Coliving is helping to bring community back to the city through homes intentionally designed for communal living. In our Webster community you’ll find that the home is the perfect hangout spot with the large dining hall or top floor lounge and tv room.

Monthly rent covers:
- Your private room furnished a queen or full-sized bed, closet or wardrobe, nightstand, lamp, and rug
- Well-equipped communal kitchens and dining areas
- Daily housekeeping of communal areas (including cleaning and stocking all shared bathrooms!)
- All utilities, including high-speed internet!
- Washer and dryer
- Sponsored community events

The community is located next to everything you need. It’s a commuter’s dream being just blocks from both 12th and 19th St BART stations as well as the major East Bay AC Transit bus lines.

Plus to make things easier, extra help like private room cleanings and additional furniture rentals are also available.
