Georgetown Apartments is an affordable housing community, we are a low-income (not income based) property. We offer one and two bedrooms, all of which are on 1 level. We pay water, sewage, and trash, leaving you responsible for electric. Our 2-bedrooms have washer/dryer hookups. We offer off-street parking, refrigerators, manager and maintenance technician, parking, and on-site laundry. . There is a waiting list for both. The 1-bedroom list is about 6 months and the 2-bedroom list, about 12 to 18 months. The current rent for a 1-bedroom is $410 or $400 depending on your income. The current rent for a 2-bedroom is $420 or $430 depending on your income. You must have some type of income to move in, but anyone can apply and be added to our list. Our applications can be picked up outside the office of Markley Square Apartments, located at 610 Markley Avenue, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Please note there are two boxes, one for Markley Square and one for Georgetown. Markley Square is a different property. We do have a residential criteria standard we go by to approve or deny along with a credit/criminal background check, and landlord verifications for your last 3 years of residency. Applications should be filled out completely and all documents signed where indicated, including the landlord verifications. Please do not fill the landlord verification out, I will do this after your application is submitted. When submitting your application, you should also submit copies birth certificates and social security cards for everyone that will be in the household and official identification for anyone that is 18 or older. You are more than welcome to schedule a time to come in and I can make copies for you. There are no application fees.
Upon move-in, we require your 1st month’s rent and a security deposit that would equal one full month’s rent. For a 1-bedroom, this would be $400 or $410, for a 2-bedroom, this would be $420 or $430. Georgetown Utilities requires a $200 deposit to set up utilities as well, this is separate from us and must be paid before we give you keys. Your lease date will be the same as your move-in date and will last for one year. After that, it is month to month.
We do not allow pets unless you need a reasonable accommodation for a pet due to a medical reason or disability. In that event there is a pet policy and guidelines that must be met.
At this time the virtual tour and text messaging systems have not been set up yet.
