I was visiting our daughter in Hawthorne CA and we attended 8:00 Mass at American Martyrs Parish on Sunday. This family-oriented parish is a open welcoming community! We were greeted by friendly faces who shared the love of their parish with us, encouraging us to walk the path of the Staions of the Cross and view the gorgeous bronze sculptures of Jesus and his mother and the Jesuit American Martyrs . After Mass we were invited to experience their amazing new Welcome Center, where we enjoyed fresh coffee and bagels! If you are looking for a family friendly, faith-filled Catholic community, this is a parish youd love! Thank you American Martyrs!

The baptism I photographed there was beautiful. Monsignor is a delight and his blessing was heart-felt and well delivered. The sanctuary is nourishing, to say the least. I was grateful to have been selected to photograph the sacrament, but more so to be blessed so lovingly.

American Martyrs Church is a beautiful place to worship. The building is lovely, but, more importantly, the Mass is celebrated with more devotion and love than some churches. The congregants are friendly and I'm always made to feel welcome. I worship here whenever I am visiting in the area, which isn't nearly often enough.
