1. After your application has been approved for occupancy, you will have the option of paying a cash deposit or using Obligo's deposit insurance, FolioGuard. Upon application approval, we will send you a portal activation link. Tenants who want to sign up for the service can do so within their portal and be approved within minutes.
2. Tenant completes the qualification process in their online portal.
3. Qualified tenants can choose whether to pay a cash deposit by exiting out of the Obligo/FolioGuard service option or keep the money in pocket by signing up for this alternative deposit service.
4. If tenants who sign up cause damages or owe unpaid charges, management may be reimbursed up to the full deposit amount at move out from the FolioGuard alternative policy.
5. Deposit insurance is payable with a monthly service fee, all billed up-front for the first year.
6. The deposit alternative amount will be up to 1.5 times monthly rent.
