The worst experience Ive had with an apartment complex. Took Lisa two weeks to get back to me to tell me we still needed to give more info. Knowing I was on a time crunch. Didnt have time to get it straightened out. I would have to leave several emails and messages before hearing from her. And then I never saw any money back. My messages and emails are being ignored. Im glad it didnt work out. Went to the village on Richmond road, they had my lease ready to sign the same day no issues.

Every time I speak to the lady that works in the office Lisa she's always wanna act like she can't hear anybody on the phone and she likes to be rude to loyal tenants. I'm over steeplechase my lease is up in Two months . I will go else where. Hate this place AND I HATE RUDE PEOPLE and this referral a friend 200 deal is bogos my friend been living and paying her bills on time its been 3 months and after speaking with Lisa she said she would call me back but she didn't I had to call back and she passed it to someone else in the office so who knows when I'll get that my lease is up soon like smh and then you try to talk to them either someone don't answer the phone or you get a rude person that doesn't value your time or concern . It takes alot for me to write a bad review but im just over it now

I have been there now for almost 2 years. Quietest place I have lived, management has always been great to me. I have never had any issues with neighbors or parking. The only complaint I have would be the amazingly high electricity bills during winter (they are fine during summer). I would take the bad reviews with a grain of salt; I have had no bad experiences here.

We've just lived here a few weeks at this point. That being said, I'm not sure about the living experience just yet. It seems great so far. What really impressed me is that when my husband and I were needing to move ASAP, Lisa worked really well with us and got us moved in a few days, even when their leasing office was under construction and they were working out of a model unit. There were a few things maintenance-wise that needed to be done when we moved in, but they were either taken care of before we moved in or shortly thereafter. Overall, just a really great move-in experience, even if it did feel rushed (because it was!).

I made an appointment to tour one of their appointments and they didn't show up. It was even during their office hours, but I guess they just decided they didn't want to be there. I tried calling and never heard from them again. If this is how they treat people before they get their money, I can't imagine what they would do to people that are trapped in a lease. Fair warning.

Cant wait to leave! These apartments are ok if you need short term lease, otherwise find someplace else. On the plus side location is good and the new appliances are nice. Other than that these are very old apartments with which Ive have had nothing but problems. Mold that they just cover up with basically spray paint. Paint job itself is terrible and is literally peeling off the woodwork. Also paint is splattered everywhere. The new kitchen cabinet doors repeatedly come lose or simply fall off (5 times in a year for me now). Bathroom leaks. Your electric bill will be through the roof this winter because of how much cold air blows through the windows. I tried putting plastic over them but so much air comes in it literally broke the tape seal away from the wall. They say they are updating these buildings but from what Ive seen it will be cheaply done and wont last. Ive lived in a lot of apartments but this has by far been the worst! If I had the money to break my lease right now I would!

I have had nothing but good experiences so far with this property. I moved here in December and was welcomed by the leasing manager and assistant manager. The rental manager was extremely patient with me, and super helpful in every possible way! With any issues that come up, the management deals with them in an extremely fast manner (immediate sometimes), and has never disappointed me so far. I like the quietness of the area and the availability of space for walks etc. Definitely recommend this to anyone single, or with kids.

Wonderful place to live! Me and my husband just moved out after 13 months at Steeplechase and we never had one bad experience! Very few maintenance issues during our time here, and every single one of them was completely taken care of either same day or the next day, and they fully fixed it the first time- no cheap, half effort fixes here! I have rented with bad apartment's and this place is a renters dream! Nice staff, great maintenance, and you really get your privacy here! All at a reasonable price compared to similar rentals in Lexington. Traffic was never an issue, always had plenty of parking and WOW! The transformation we have seen this last year! Good bye blue and dated and hello updated, modern apartments! They also are very pet friendly! If we hadn't gotten a house we would have definitely renewed our lease!

They don't want to fix anything our dishwashers has not been working right called 3x they came out where we were not there left a note saying it runs I know it runs but the heating element is out as well as its squeals on top that they had to fix our kitchen floor due to it bowing in -plus the water pressure absolutley sucks - they over price the apartments you can find something cheaper and of much better quality than these we are moving out before our lease is up and I wouldn't refer anybody here

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Every since moving in we have had nonstop problems with this apartment. Electrical bill was out of this world being around $200 a month from November- March. We froze our butts off trying to lower it but nothing worked. About 4 months before our lease ran out we had mold growing on the ceiling above our shower. It took 3 or 4 calls to get them to finally come and when they did they only sprayed it with bleach. The mold came back the next day and continued to get worse, the ceiling looked as if it could bust through any second. We called about 6 or 7 times and NEVER had anyone come. We are moved out now (thank God). I had to throw away some of my clothes because the mold sweeped through the walls into my closet.

I don't remember paying an application fee before signing a lease. When I needed to move out early there were no problems. Very pet friendly, loved the vaulted ceilings, had lots of space inside and a fireplace. really nice apartments in good location.

I was lived here almost three years. Every summer my A/C would quit working in different apartments. My wife's car was broken into once, as was mine a year later. New management before I left wasn't that great, and was like the fourth different group in the three years. Location was great, but apartments are kind of overpriced and drafty. My electric bill was awful in summer and winter.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! All the negative reviews I'm reading have been what I experienced and I couldn't get out fast enough. Pipes bursting, water being shut off WITHOUT NOTICE, renovations purely for ascetics .... but meanwhile your apartment inside can't get repairs or updates if Pam even bothers to get off her lazy butt and put in a work order. Maintenance is AWFUL. It literally takes DAYS to get anyone to fix plumbing problems. Within a year there, I had over 5 plumbing emergencies!!
