Siegel Suite Staff (Sharon, Hector, Jo, Courtney) lied & stole my $45.00 deposit. Room, A/C, mattress smelled of pet urine & stains. Rooms are NOT updated as their website lies. Security guard Jo sneaks around people's balconies at night. Pool was not kept clean and closes early. I would recommend the Down Towner or Sterling instead. John Mills updated the room when their lazy fat staff "does not care." Zero stars out of five.

PROS:
--MUCH better than South Cove apartments (across the street).
--Tile floors
--Good option for those who are DESPERATE & can't sign a lease or pay a large security deposit.
CONS:
--They don't let you pay weekly unless you've been here a few months.
--In a bad part of town where you can't walk 3 blocks without getting solicited 5 times for sex or drugs.
--People yelling in the alley at all times of the night which security does nothing about.
--If you dare stand outside your door to get fresh air you'll get yelled at by security or staff. And when I brought it up to courtney she ACTUALLY said its a "fire hazard". YES, she REALLY said that LOL
--They deal in cash, and should you want to pay by card, be prepared for a HEFTY surcharge! They charge a 4% fee if you use your card (which is equivalent to about $20) They literally EXPLOIT & take advantage of their OWN PAYING tenants for simply using their credit card!!!! WOW. Nice job, Siegel! That has to be one of the most shady & corrupt things I've heard a company do.
--Lived here 5 months & lost count of how many times we've sprayed for cockroaches yet we are STILL infested. And yes we keep our apartment tidy & SPOTLESS! We even sealed up some holes & cracks but they still get in.
--Wi-Fi internet is a complete RIP OFF at $13/week for basic & more for high-speed, but it HARDLY EVER WORKS!
--They let ANYONE in here (drug dealers/addicts, prostitutes, etc) I saw a tweaker move in next door to us & get kicked out within 24 hrs. So instead of refusing service to him immediately they stole his money first and THEN kicked him out! I'm not a fan of drug addicts but that's pretty low, Siegel! Its alllllll about the benjies to this greedy corporation!
--They need to take a course in CUSTOMER SERVICE, ETHICS & HOSPITALITY & learn how to APOLOGIZE (especially courtney). She gives attitude with ANY LEGITIMATE complaint you have but gives no explanation, apology, NADA! And the "managers" here are no better! If you have a complaint call CORPORATE because even though he probably doesn't care either at LEAST he's professional & courteous
--I also had to ask about the Siegel Rewards program because no one told us about it the ENTIRE FIVE months we were staying here. When I finally asked about it courtney said it really wasn't worth getting anyway. Um, REALLY, courtney?? Hopefully now you all see that they truly don't give a f--- about anything except PROFIT.
--They also post pictures of BRAND NEW studios on Craig's list but the studios are in desperate need of renovation. Do not buy into their LIES & false advertising! Our studio was in need of renovation when we moved in with paint stuck to the shower curtain because they'd rather choose laziness & the easy, cheap way over fixing the problem. Really, Siegel? Covering up your disgusting rust & other nastiness with PAINT?! And not even waiting for it to dry before hanging up the curtain? WOOOOW! Speechless. The paint was already allllll chipped off the first night we moved in so EPIC FAIL on their part!
--The stair way by the dumpsters are not even. I've fallen twice & so has my boyfriend. I'm amazed no one has gotten really hurt. (Picture attached for proof). PLEASE be careful on these stairs!

The office staff were nice and helpful. The night security sucked. I had one of my two bikes stolen from in front of our door. The cable was cut. Our RV was vandalized, and hit while in their lot.
Because it's a hotel, you can't get a bank account at US Bank, because they don't recognize them as a real address.

Avoid at all costs. This place exists only to prey on the under privileged. They deal in cash, and should you want to pay by card, be prepared for a hefty surcharge. The rooms are awful and bug infested. Cockroaches and bed bugs rule. They say they do background checks and provide a "safe and secure" place to live, yet they have an "agreement" with the city and take in sex offenders! Just check online. What you do get is drug dealers and users, prostitutes, and criminals. The maintenance people are a joke and will go into rooms infested with bed bugs to work, and then go into another room and bring the bugs with them. The fire alarm system has been disabled so people can cook in their rooms, and most of the windows are screwed shut. 2 dead bodies were found here during my stay. This is a very bad place in a very bad part of town,

Their credit card fees are stupid high!!
One of the most affordable weekly studios out there.
Nobody bothered me because I kept to myself. Easy right?
I was staying with my daughter, and felt comfortable doing so. We're pretty adaptable unless otherwise. This was a temporary stay anyway.
Office staff was decent.
No major issues.
Police and security presence often.
Cons:
Roach issue(small roaches seen every now and then) although I had kept my room clean and smelling good at all times, but not too bad to the point where it becomes a worse infestation.
A lot of homeless people in the area.
3-4 different people had knocked on my door looking for a person who used to stay in my room before I did.
One day I went to the office and had happened to see the security officers, their name tags read very unprofessional, ones name is "J Butterknucles" and the other's name is "Azzhole"!! SMH. I can't make this mess up!! Lol!! Seriously Siegel?
Dirty pool.
Narrow parking. Especially for those such as myself who drive large vehicles(trucks & SUV's).
Arguments and yelling between neighbors and couples.
Lots of sirens.
You have to pay for internet service by the week.
Outrageous credit card fees if you were to use your card with the front office, you may be better off paying cash to avoid those fees.
Cramped up office space at the front office.

Their credit card fees are stupid high!!

I was staying with my daughter, and felt comfortable doing so. We're pretty adaptable unless otherwise. This was a temporary stay anyway.

Update 2018:
Relocating back to Vegas in a few days, and had called to check on pricing. The prices went up compared to last year. Still pretty affordable though. Office staff still pleasant. I'm looking to stay here again temporarily since my experiences here were not bad the last time that I was here. I hope that the small roach issue that I had experienced calmed down. :)

Not bad! MUCH BETTER THAN SOUTH COVE! ($791 which is a tad high but oh well). If youre a female prepared to be solicited 500 times a day while walking down the street. That being said, I like that they have tile floors, no musty carpets, SUPER comfy pillow top mattress & no cockroaches. Our room however is right by the back alley so I hear homeless people digging through the trash all night & occasional screaming. The walls are also VERY thin so you can hear every word of a normal tone conversation in the next apartment. Not terrible when youre in a jam and cant afford to sign a lease or pay a security deposit. DEFINITELY AVOID SOUTH COVE APARTMENTS ACROSS THE STREET (I wrote a review explaining why).
**UPDATE** wish they would fix their stairway because Ive fallen twice and bruised my arm. BE CAREFUL going up (especially down) the stairs you will lose your footing.

The management, staff, security,and almost all of the residents here, are drug addicts with mental issues. If you do a favor for a neighbor, like give them a cigarette , or a ride, or loan them money, they will constantly expect it from you and will Never pay you back. A lot of bugs here, and if you complain to management, they say that if you were to keep your apt. Cleaner, you would not have any. Thumbs way down for these apts . From hell !

I had to live there when I first moved to Vegas because I was broke. I should have crashed on a friend's couch instead....
I had to live there when I first moved to Vegas because I was broke. I should have crashed on a friend's couch instead. Cockroaches. bed bugs. FILTH, and everything in between. You can rent a decent apartment in Vegas for around $650/mo. This place was more expensive and way worse.
Most people who live there are in pretty dire situations and it can get... interesting. I had people knock on my door at 3am asking for crack because apparently the person living there before me was a dealer. I had the downstairs neighbor, completely drunk, open my door WITH HIS KEY. We both got really scared and luckily I didn't stab or shoot him or vice versa. Other than that, the police was there at least twice a week for one reason or another.
Please, avoid this place like plague unless you are writing a novel about the underbelly of Vegas or if you want stories to tell your friends later in life. If you are a single woman, you should probably steer very clear of this place. It is not safe.

My brother moved in a few days ago not even a week... the room they gave him still had stuff from the previous residents... then after work a couple nights ago I took him dinner and stood out side of his room with him and my husband to smoke a cigarette and security came at us very aggressive.. telling us that if he saw us on property the next day he will trespass us and that he would be looking for us... we told him we weren't visiting and my brother told him he was the one renting the room.. the next day my brother talked to the management about the matter.. they then told my brother the security guard said he had 4 people living with him... never apologized for his aggressive behaviour .. just said they would talk to him...
