Apartments Near Lansing Community College

LCC students are footsteps away from the best restaurants west of the Grand River. Most of them are located on or around Washington Square, as this is where the local political crowd goes out for lunch and dinner. Zoup!, Troppo, Knight Cap, the Spotted Dog, and the Waterfront are just a few of the best places to dine in the area. Off campus students will become very familiar with the local restaurants if they have to stay near campus for the day or are at the library studying late. Other universities and colleges may be more prestigious than LCC, but students here have a perfect location if they’re trying to get their foot in a political door. LCC is three blocks from the Lansing City Hall and four blocks from the Michigan State Capitol. Because LCC is only a two year school, many students pursue nearby internships during their time here, and then either graduate with an Associate’s and try to turn their experiences into a job, or transfer to another school with a rolodex of contacts. When looking for an apartment it’s important to consider how close you want to be to campus and the city’s political scene if you’re planning on getting involved.
