All you need to move in with is your suitcase!

We are renting the entire upstairs 3 bedroom/1 bath home for $4450 per month (< $150/day) + $450 per month for utilities, yardcare, pest control, & WiFi while we live on the mainland. The largest bedroom has a king size bed, large closet, and large desk, dresser, TV, mini-fridge, and window AC unit. The other two smaller bedrooms have full size beds and a small closet.

The home is in an amazing location as well. If you want community, you can easily walk to downtown Kapaa, the Kapaa beaches, and the famous Kapaa bike path. If you want a break from the busy mainland or a stressful job, then enjoy peace and tranquility on our one third acre fenced in yard with water (canal) access to the ocean. Rent a kayak and enjoy exploring our ocean access canal or spend the day swinging in a hammock in the ocean breeze under our trimmed coconut trees next to a stream and views of nearby Sleeping Giant Mountain. Or enjoy the views of Waialeale, Makaleha, and Sleeping Giant mountains while sipping a local Java Kai coffee from the covered lanai.

This is a super quiet location at the end of a private street. The home is just over 1000 sq ft with two stairways into the main living area. The entire house has been updated and is decorated in a mixture of Asian and Hawaiian Beach styles, with antique Asian wood furnishings and wall coverings. Enjoy a newly remodeled shared bathroom with beautifully tiled shower, upgraded kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas stove, and dishwasher.

Monthly utility fee includes access to high speed WiFi for working remotely, and streaming accounts for entertainment. The property is centrally located only a 15-minute drive from Lihue or Kilauea. The home is completely furnished and stocked with dinner ware, cookware, appliances, towels, spices, etc. A shared full size laundry room is located downstairs featuring a brand-new washer and newer dryer.

This home is intended to be transitional housing for professionals moving to Kauai and waiting for shipment of household goods, traveling healthcare professionals, islanders in transition and waiting for permanent housing, or those looking for a long-term break from the rat race of the mainland and/or working remotely. The house is on a brand-new septic system, has propane gas for cooking, a tankless water heater, and clean city water.

There is plenty of parking space in front of the home, but please only one vehicle per tenant. There is a family member renting a completely separate downstairs guest studio long term who acts as the on-site property manager. Included with the rent are all utilities and monthly yardcare.
