I'm so happy my fiancee and I left this place, We just moved from Miami,FL and Camden was the place we chose to call home in Houston. We signed a 15 month lease and decided that we might want a change to get more quiet, So once we made aware that we will not renew, we went on vacation back to Miami, and once we returned, Our apartment was broken into. Strange enough they only took the Living Room TV, I had my laptop right next to the TV, My fiancee is a videographer and had camera's and camera equipment laying everywhere and they didn't take the bedroom TV. I thought to myself which theft come to steal one TV? TO MAKE THINGS EVEN MORE STRANGE ( The thieves went to the electrical port by the gate near the trash in building 5 and directly cut our power off because some how they knew we had a camera) Keep in mind NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE, has ever came to our apartment no friends, no family, no co workers, NO ON BUT MAINTENANCE, Problem 1 How is it that the electrical boxes are not locked and anybody can just go and cut your electricity off. Problem 2, The police came and we advised him that NO ONE every came to our home the only people that came was the 3 different maintenance guys that work on the property, and one of which was so scared when he saw the police doing the fingerprint dust to find fingerprint THE POLICE EVEN STATED THIS WAS A INSIDE JOB AND ADVISED WE MOVED FROM CAMDEN. Problem 3, WE ADVISED CAMDEN PARK EMPLOYEE CAT ABOUT THIS AND SHE DID NOTHING TO SHOW SHE CARED OR A PHONE CALL FROM HER MANAGER TO APOLOGIZE..... DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED BY THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE. THEY HAVE "MANDATORY" ROUTINE CHECK IN YOUR APT LIKE 5-6x A YEAR EVEN WHEN YOU ARE NOT HOME. BEWARE OF CAMDEN PARK ON WESTHIMER.

Excellent community, very attentive leasing office & maintenance staff. I really enjoy the attention to details... the well-groomed landscaping, clean beautiful pools and pet waste disposal stations, to the community parties, weekly food trucks during the school year. Plus, it's a short walk away from good shopping, eating, and salon options, and I feel pretty safe walking around the community. Many people have pets or children, and are welcoming neighbors who keep the neighborhood safe by staying active on the community website. Buildings are in great condition, gym is up to date and always available, clean and well lit. You get a cute little welcome package when you move into your unit, filled with apt necessities. Well paved roads and big parking spaces. It's nice to see people feel comfortable actually using the pool and gym, and taking leisurely strolls around the complex, without fear of being harmed, followed, cat-called, or even stepping on poop the moment they step out! In fact there's a nice presence of wildlife from the reserve in the area- I've seen falcons, hawks, cranes, herons, cardinals, to name a few. Neighbors make eye contact and smile when they pass, they might even say hi like a real person hah. I think most residents here find this to be a stable and enjoyable environment.
