I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Worst management. They've mice and cockroaches everywhere.They don't care when we request for services.They take at least 2 days to fix even a small thing.Im having worst experience here. Can't wait to get out of here.If you're moving here Expect children running in the hallways,smelly hallways and elevators.

Worst worst worst.... never ever join this appartements.i had lot lo problems in all kinds lo senarios like car parking,air conditioners doesnot work,bad smell in the corridor,rent is high 1 bed room 1550 dollars,haider is not at all helpfull.tony is some better of all.please i suggest not to go with this appartements.plz!!!!!

It's fine if this is all you can afford, which was my case. However you should know what to expect: cockroaches, smelly / dirty hallways, heat/water/gas issues (sometimes needing to be shut off for several hours), and people leaving their trash in common areas. They are working to renovate the individual apartments, but the building itself needs some major overhaul. It was good enough for what I needed short-term, but once I could afford something better, I moved out.

This is the worst community that i have ever seen lived there for one year with a lot of dissapoint ,sometimes there will be no hot water even no water sometime lazy people,main door not working well,bugs all over the floor , side-walls are not clean,and front desk guy doesn't show respect he is rude with all this drawbacks rent is high. i suggest not to join this community next to this we got a lot of better one with better price.

1 star is too high of a rating for this place. Besides the two leasing agents, Erika and Haider, who were very understanding and kind, nothing was even slightly bearable. I lived there for about 6 weeks and began noticing cockroaches on my first morning in the apartment. They treated my apartment 3 times with no change. Every other week I would need to box up my kitchen and bathroom, disassemble my bed, etc for these treatments that were completely unsuccessful. After my dog grew sick I decided I couldnt put up with it anymore and asked to get out of my lease. It was a battle with the apartment manager, Tony, and the owners. I finally was able to break my lease and lose my $400 pet deposit (although my dog caused no damage) but Im just thankful to be out of those horrendous living conditions. Aside from the roaches, children are constantly running around screaming, unsupervised. The key fab scanner to get in the building was almost always broken. And the walls are so thin I could hear everything happening in my neighbors apartment. DO NOT move here. When I toured I thought it looked decent and clean. Dont make my same mistake!

But you face problem for Parking but still you can park in the Service road but it's hard to get place if you come after 10:30 PM . However it's a Cool and Muslim Neighborhood just beside Muslim Islamic center

The Jefferson is not a luxury apartment and should not be judged as one. There are families, children, dogs and all of what comes when you live in a reasonably priced apartment with a good location. It's minutes from Ballston or East Falls Church by car. It's walking distance to several grocery stores, amazing local restaurants and bars. The staff have never been less than friendly and courteous. It's not a grand condo with marble counter-tops and stainless steel appliances and a concierge. It's a reasonable place to live at a decent price. Yes, for a few months there was a new infant next door who woke up every morning at 3 AM. It's an apartment. Yes there are children riding bikes in the hallway when it rains. It's an apartment. Yes, parking is a struggle sometimes. It's an apartment. A culturally diverse group of people living in a safe building on a bus line with a free shuttle to the Metro. If I didn't change jobs, I never would have moved.

They do not care about their tenents at all. It was 86 degrees in my APARTMENT and i called and complained at least 5 times and they would not turn on the air conditioning for the building although it was in perfect working order. They claim they don't have to until May 1st which they're following to save money. This is just one example of them absolutely ignoring their tenents. Do not move here.

People throw trash every where. This place is horrible. Management doesn't give a damn about you. I wouldn't even suggest my worst enemy to live here. This place sucks so bad. Please don't rent from them or any properties managed by capital investment.

I moved here just about a year ago. I won't say the building is perfect, but it is absolutely moving in the right direction....

I moved here just about a year ago. I won't say the building is perfect, but it is absolutely moving in the right direction. The management has changed several times, but the new management is absolutely spectacular! Any time that I have had an issue, they immediately send someone to my apartment to fix it. I was shocked when I told them that I had a problem with my bathroom sink, and the maintenance man just followed me up to my apartment and fixed the issue immediately. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and always willing to listen to any concerns that you may have. I cannot be more thrilled that I just renewed my lease. The apartment building can only go up from here and is in a wonderful area with all of the restaurants and shopping you could ask for.

The Jefferson now is not good as use to be. I have lived at Jefferson for five years, it was great until the new company that bought the building. Even though they don't have enough parking spaces, they leased many spots for people who don't use them. So I moved. After my moving, they send the last utility bill to collection company without telling me despite the office know my new address, my phone number, and my email.

Also, whoever they just hired as manager is a completely intolerable jerk. She literally yells at tenants and their kids. No, I'm serious... She raises her voice at the people who are the reason she's employed in the first place. I was once charged a late fee by mistake and within the first five minutes of meeting her, for the first time, I heard the words lawyers and court... Seriously? You just replaced a person who just replaced another random person. You are not the owner nor do I think the owners of this place had any of these issues as their vision. As soon as my lease is up, I'm moving. And they can keep their finders fee for referring a friend. I had a couple of friends with pets looking and since I'm seeing more and more dogs around, I thought this might be a good place... Except I remembered these are friends and I don't hate them so why in the heck would I tell them to come deal with a miserable manager and a smelly, roach infested building? PS... I would feel a bit guilty having written this review without mentioning the two guys that work in the office. I believe one even doubles as security after hours. In any case, these guys are stand up guys in a building with absolutely no other redeeming qualities.
