I wouldnt move back here if they paid me. From not being allowed to view the apartment I was going to rent to the constant water bugs to the upstairs neighbors throwing parties on weekdays & waking me up at the early hours of the morning. I had to call the police EIGHT times for noise complaints. I was told I would be breaking my lease if I moved & would have to continue paying rent until the apartment was rented again, despite the noise complaint not being fixed. Dont expect to get your security deposit back either. Out of $150 I got a whopping $32 because of final charges, such as water, garbage etc. even though my final check out inspection only required a carpet cleaning. I also had to pay for a month of rent and utilities, even though I moved out the month prior. I would not recommend this place to anyone, military or civilian. Never again, so happy to be out of there.

The staff was actually pretty good when I was living there under a lease, but when I fulfilled my year lease, I wanted to move into a home and I'm sitting here 46 days after moving out and still getting the run around, lack of information about getting my security deposit back, and they tried to make me pay 30 days past my lease. I thought when the year was up, so was your payments. You know, no lease, no payments, especially if I'm moved out!!!! Just so people know, the contract states you must give them "60" days notice to vacate. Not the standard 30. With some businesses, you really do need to take some time reading the small print.
Don't rely on them letting you go, even IF your lease is up.

I absolutely recommend TWL apartments to anyone who can afford to live there. I lived in a 1 bedroom unit in 2016, then moved to VA closer to my duty station. I regretted that move every day since. I am luckily moving back to a 3 bedroom unit, and I couldnt be more happier. The office staff has been pleasant to work with, and Amber does what she can to make living there possible for you. The pool is great during the open season, and the shopping center is enough to satisfy my needs. If you have concerns with the apartment complex, or staff, you should give them the respect to be aware of a situation and allow them time to address it.

The staff is great..my apartment wonderful..grounds are very well maintained and neighbors are friendly and welcoming. could not be more pleased.
Place was neat and tidy. Liked that it was close to a shopping center. Office staff was nice and the pool was so cool!...

Other than the water pressure, this complex is amazing!!!! Best staff team on the planet. See you at renewal
We cannot wait for our lease to end! I will preface this by saying that my comments have NOTHING to do with the leasing...
We cannot wait for our lease to end! I will preface this by saying that my comments have NOTHING to do with the leasing staff or maintenance. They have been incredibly helpful the entire time that we have been here. Amber, Heather and the maintenance people work extremely hard, but they are fighting a losing battle. Our move in experience was good. The apartment was relatively clean and the carpets were acceptable. The problem is, the neighbors. My family has not had a good nights rest in MONTHS......and I mean this literally. Our upstairs neighbors are ridiculous.....I think we live under a team of football players who have scrimmages every night. We also have a neighbor who has been arrested on numerous occasions and can be heard abusing his spouse at least 3 times a week. There is constantly trash on the stairwells, and the fecal matter in the grass areas is INSANE (the complex provides lovely pet stations with waste bags, but they obviously do not get used). We had a group of ladies from our church group come over and they were greeted by a third floor neighbor dropping their trash from their balcony. Although our unit is kept immaculate, we have struggled with bugs because of neighbors who pile trash on their balconies. AND THE SPIDERS..........I CANNOT EVEN EXPRESS HOW MANY SPIDERS THERE ARE HERE! I have complained to the front office about the neighbor issues, and they do their best, but NC State laws do not allow for people to be removed without going through the proper channels, which takes time. Time that my family continues to be miserable and continues to be awakened nightly. Today is Thanksgiving and police are FLYING through the neighborhood. Such is life at Tanglewood Lakes.

I absolutely LOVE my new apartment!!! Clean, safe, spacious, gorgeous, quiet!!! Luv my neighbors, pool & Amber & Heather are WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Move in here!!!
