Dogs & Cats need to be spayed/neutered, housebroken or litterbox trained, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Birds must be kept caged at all times. Aquarium must be kept on approved stand.
A non-refundable $25 per adult application fee is required.

Silver Birch apartments are located in Detroit Lakes on the restored Washington Avenue with access to Gar Park and gardens next door. These designated Elderly (62+)/Disabled, Regardless of Age, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments feature an open kitchen and living room with ample storage in the unit. Large windows fill the living room and bedroom areas with natural sunlight. We’ll take care of the maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal for you while you enjoy the spacious community room with a cozy fireplace. Silver Birch Apartments are pet-friendly and non-smoking. Heat, water, sewer, and garbage are included in the monthly income-based rental payment. Rental Assistance may be available, and income and age guidelines apply for residence qualification.
