I'm in the military and just moved out of Sugar Mill after living there for 6 months. This place is a winner on all fronts. I lived in a single bedroom unit on the first floor. It was huge for the price; 1189 sf for $865 a month. The faux hardwood floors in all but the bathroom and bedroom were nice. The fixtures and kitchen were tastefully chosen, and the ceilings were higher than normal. I've never seen a place that put more effort into its landscaping. This place has well-trimmed trees, bushes, flowers, and grass all over, and workers are busy several days a week ensuring it stays beautiful. It has a large pool, cheap car wash, pond out back, tennis court, playground, weight room, and a few other amenities. I just moved to Fayetteville, NC, and the selection here is looking DISMAL by comparison. The Sugar Mill maintenance personnel and staff are friendly, helpful, and timely in their service. I never had a problem with bugs, repairs, or anything else. No place is perfect, but this is the closest I've seen. I sure am going to miss this place!
