Spacious 2-3 bedroom duplex with garage, fenced in back yard and basement - This is a very large 2-3 bedroom one bath duplex (1140 sq feet of finished living area). The living room (17 1/2 x 14) and kitchen (17 x 11) are huge and the two bedrooms are very good sized (13 1/2 x 11 1/2 & 12 x 11 1/2). The smaller of the two bedrooms has an entire wall of built in shelves, drawers and cabinets. There is an additional room that could be a nonconforming kids bedroom or office (10 x 10), however you walk through one bedroom to get to this room. The laundry room is off of the kitchen (9x10). There is also a full basement. It is not finished out but tons of space for storage, a play room, recreational room or anything else you can think of. There is over 1000 square feet of space in the basement.
The house has central air and heat. There is also a one car garage and a portion of the back yard is fully fenced in.
This house passed military inspection in the past and should have no problem passing again.
A deposit equal to the rent is required. $35.00 pet rent for an approved pet (exceptions may apply) and a pet deposit/pet fee which is half of the base rent plus pet rent. Half of this is a refundable deposit and the other half a non refundable pet fee.
The electric, gas, sewer and trash would be in the tenants names and the water would be $25.00/month paid to the landlord.

This duplex is located in Clay Center which is a small community that has everything you would need for daily living. It is also about 35 minutes from Fort Riley and 40 minutes from Manhattan and Junction City. It is a wonderful community and a great place to raise a family or just get away from the Fort Riley, JC or Manhattan area. In 2011, we added a $200,000+ park that is just a few blocks away. Clay Center also has a nice and free zoo which was renovated and walking trails added, several golf courses (public & private) as well as many restaurants, shops, stores, bars & other activities. We also have a wonderful and newer Aquatic Park!
