The first three months Wowwww.... just great but then somewhere along the lines I had roaches... more & more roaches.. and nobody seemed to care. So I started to ask the neighbors ... of course they had them but they seemed to not mind... I was confused... like confused asf. I dont care if the rent was 100 dollars nobody should have to live like that.. I think they need to take care of their properties a whole lot better. I flew outta that place so damn fast.. tf
there is a black dude work in this property and he is reckless and rude. moving out because of him i am scared as a resident.

Pros:
- Rent is ok for its location near UC.
- Quiet, has quite a bit of space outside for bbq and pets. Theres a small swimming pool.
- Security is good, RFID tabs and CC camera.
- Easy and fast access to management with an office in the first floor.
- Online rent payment and account management.
Cons:
- A lot of maintenance- water is shut off for whole days almost every other week.
- Corridors smell of weed/cigarettes all the time.
- Emergency maintenance is not available as advertised- takes a while.
- The pool is only open during summer, around 3 months.

I have lived at the Overlook for over 15 years and this is one of the best group of people we have had working on the property..The property manager Kathryn is very easy to deal with and the other girls in the office Kristina and Janai are always helpful and very pleasant..Maintenance is completed in a timely fashion..Overall a great place to live..

I lived here for 3 years. It is cheap rent relatively close to UC, but that is the only upside. Gaslight Property does not...
I lived here for 3 years. It is cheap rent relatively close to UC, but that is the only upside. Gaslight Property does not care about maintenance issues, for example a wooden bar in my closet broke and it was replaced with a broom handle. Furthermore, there is always a shortage of parking and even after multiple requests Gaslight would not tow any cars from the lot. Finally, there are routine utility shutoffs in this building to fix seemingly never ending issues.

Now it got worse because they keep painting over everything and not going on top to fix the problem they keep going outside on my balcony that's not were the problem is its on top now it's leaking in 6 different spots now mold in my apt growing threw the walls cintepeede infestation because to many hidden cracks which they won't fix bathroom ceiling leaking now I have to move n pay more I hope they don't move No one in the apt im moving out cuz if they do they gone have same problem so I hope they get it fix correctly spraying paint on mold is not solving the problem not safe to keep renting a apt with water damage and mold n the pool is filthy never cleaned it except when they first opened it smh

Pretty ok for Clifton housing. The complex was bought by Towne properties just before I moved in and they were putting good money into renovations.
Pros: Pretty quiet overall. Decent amount of residents are seniors, families, or quiet grad students. Plenty of grass for pets to use the bathroom and a pool that is rarely used. Property manager is really nice.
Cons: Parking is generally full and my wife fell on the ice at least twice. Few washers and dryers and not cheap. Hallway tends to wreak of smoke. Several code violations occurred in my apartment when I lived there for a year. Emergency maintenance guy was never in a rush to help either.
