Our family is looking to share a “tribe vibe.” This cozy historic home is a duplex. We live in the bottom-level unit and we are seeking a community oriented person or family to make the top-level their home.
The top-level unit is 1300sqft and features a large living room a two bedroom It's a two bedroom, one bathroom with a small bonus room. The utilities electric, water, heat, and internet service the entire house and are included in rent.
The property is has 3 miles from Highway 40, 20 minute drive to Asheville, yet walking distance to downtown Canton restaurants, shops, and even the Pigeon river!
We have wonderful mountain views, but is still close to everything you need from Ingles to Food Lion, And nestled in a quiet neighborhood where children and dogs still walk and play outdoors!
We are a family of 4, Rio the one-year-old wonder boy, mama bear Autumn, diligent Dad, Andre, Oliver the endlessly loving Golden Retriever, and Eric our super sweet housemate.
We are often found immersed in nature, and we care for our bodies and minds by enjoying delicious nutritious food and abstaining from intoxicating substances. We also care for hearts and our environment with clear communication, and by being proactive about problem solving and conflict resolution.
We imagine regularly sharing activities like meals or gardening. We would love to share our home with a family with young children- We are equally open to elders who might become the grandparent figure(s).

We know this arrangement is a little different than other situations so a 3-12 month lease is available
Move in costs are a 2200 security deposit, in addition to first month’s rent.
We can explore the possibility of pets that are 40 pounds or smaller with appropriate deposit, and vet records.
