If you are looking to get ripped off like almost every other place to rent in Bloomington then look no further, I lived here the first year that this place was opened and it was HORRIBLE. The landlord Tyler is a complete D-bag who tries to nickle and dime every little thing. Our roof was constantaly leaking, and when our air condiioner broke the contractor who came in to fixed it laughed at how cheaply everything was put together and it is true, TOO MANY cheap aspects to mention but I'll name a few: We literally heard Tyler tell the contractors who were painting to "pick up the cheapest paint they could at menards", this paid off when trying to clean the walls because the paint was easily scrubed off stright to the dry wall. There is not ice make in the "brand new stainless steel appliances" if you pay 750 a month for rent the least you could do is have an ice-maker. The floorboards chipped when moving in revealing that they were made out of cardboard. In general these buildings are made to look good for the walk through but after about 20 minutes in the house you can tell that they are made like poop. To top all of this off we got less then half of our deposit because we got charged 600 dollars for cleaning which is COMPLETE BULLSHIT because my mother is a CLEAN FREAK and she personally came down and scrubbed the entire place down for two days. Its all just a scam which he cooks up with hsi other sleaze ball friends to get as much money as possible, Tyler is a loser whose daddy paid for the entire building and he tries to wear the big boy pants (example: his First name was once the building but his dad made him take it off and just put "Curry.") Honestly, I have not even scratched the surface on why you should not live here but if you are still thinking about living here take the money that you would have spent on rent+Deposit+parking and build a fire with it, then throw yourself in it for being such an idiot, but chances are that if you are looking to live here you are an East Coast douche bag who gets everything handed to them and is ruining IU.
