Description

Welcome to 8205 Bryant Drive, Bethesda, MD,

Public Transport: After a five-block walk, There is a Bus Stop on Wilson Avenue for a bus that goes to

the Bethesda Metro (subway) stop Red Line.

The property is listed as semi-furnished in as is condition. All appliances are in working condition.

We have left some furniture we consider in good condition. These pieces will be marked with green

post-it notes. If the tenant wishes to remove them, they should contact us or the Real Estate manager at

PMI and we will arrange for pickup or removal.

There are some pieces of furniture particularly chests of drawers that are in less good condition.

Several have some working drawers, but some do not work. These are marked with orange Post-it

notes. That means if the tenant wishes it removed, we, the owners dont mind if it is sent to the dump.

It will be the tenants responsibility to replace them as needed*

Upper Floor

Kitchen: The doors that have fallen off some kitchen drawers and under the sink will not be repaired.

The burn mark on the wooden floor will not be repaired. We the owners have left some plates, bowls,

pots and pans silverware, spatulas, kitchen gadgets, wine glasses and vases, etc. They are left for

the use of the tenant if so desired. If not, let us know and we will decide how to dispose of them.

Dining Room: We have left some fine china (from occupied Germany), serving dishes, and small

Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations in the China Closet, plus some fine statues on top of the China

Closet (far from the hands of children). They are left for the use of the tenants if so desired. If not, let us

know and we will decide how to dispose of them.

Other contents of China Closets: There are tablecloths, most of which fit the dining room table (dining

room table has a middle section that can be removed so two sizes of tablecloth are used) and some

placemats, and cloth napkins, and napkin rings. We leave them for the use of the tenant if so desired. If

not, please let us know and we will decide how to dispose of them. A nice carving set may also be in one

of the drawers.

Living Room: Furniture is considered to be in good condition. We have removed all family pictures and

souvenirs from the surface of the various pieces of furniture. The piano has been kept tuned every year

except for the last two years when we have been in CT. If someone in the tenant family is going to use

it, it should be tuned at this time, and every year thereafter to preserve its value. We will pay for the

tuning.

Sun Room: We are comparing estimates to get repairs made to the sunroom. At the very least, the

sticking sliding doors will be fixed. (Currently, they can only be opened with a hefty lifting motion)

Other repairs are anticipated. We are comparing estimates. One contracting company assured us

repairs could be completed in 1 -2 days. Plants: it is up to the tenants to keep or throw away any of the

existing plants.

Bedrooms: The master bedroom bed is about 15 years old. We have removed things from most built in

drawers under the bed and the shelf at the head of the bed the only exception being the queen sheets

which match the bed.

The large queen mattress and bed in the small adjacent bedroom is only 6 months old. It was installed

for a guest on short notice, but is in a small room. The other single bed (a hospital bed) was purchased

used. We plan to hire movers to move the larger bed to the larger room, and the smaller single bed to

the smaller room. The bookcases will be labeled with post-it notes as indicated above.

Lower Floor:

Family Room at base of split level stairs: Again, post it notes will be left to indicate which furniture can

be taken to the dump if not wanted peach orange) , and which we would like a chance to decide

disposal of. We are capable of quick trips from CT to MD to arrange disposal or moving, and our PMI real

estate manager Nicholas Lazarchick can also arrange for removal or storage on instruction from us.

Tenant will be expected to pay the utilities bill for the TV connection. (And other utilities).

Adjacent room (to the right as one descends the stairs) --which leads to the laundry area: There are

useful desks, bookshelves, and one chest of drawers (drawers may stick) and make-shift shelves in this

room with cinder blocks which the tenants may wish to keep. We have cleaned out the contents of this

furniture. Post it notes will be used to signal what can be ditched if desired and what pieces should

instigate contacting the owner. The owners wife used this room and furniture for an office. A desire to

move any of the furniture should be referred to the real estate manager from PMI and the owners will

consider paying the cost of moving.

Small laundry room itself: A new sink base needs to be installed. This will be accomplished before

occupancy. We have removed all laundry supplies.

Other room adjacent on other side (left) to Family roomthis was designed to either be a bedroom

(matching curtains to bathroom) or an office. The landlords husband used it as an office. Useful

bookshelves and the desk will be marked with post-it notes as explained above. If the tenants want to

use it as a bedroom, the tenant needs to purchase a bed.

There is one other utility room which was used to store cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, batteries,

duct tape, etc. On the odd chance that the tenant hires our housekeeper, who knows the house well,

having worked for us for 20 years, we have left that room stocked.

Other:

Bathrooms: we have removed all items from bathrooms, except for some towels in good condition.

Linen Closet (in guest bathroom on top floor) Some sheets, duvet, pillows, and towels remain in the

linen closet for the use of the tenant. If the tenant does not want these, the PMI real estate manager or

landlord should be contacted, and arrangements will be made to donate them.

Garage: The owners did not use the garage to park the car. It currently contains a variety of useful tools.

Behind the garage is an extra storage room with a separate entrance. It has built in rods for hanging

surplus clothes. We have removed the clothes. Although we considered using it as an extra bedroom for

an adult child, It is not heated.

Patio Furniture and Bird Feeders: The Patio Furniture is left for the use of the tenant. If it is not desired,

please contact the PMI real estate manager and or landlord about disposal. Bird Feeders which are in

working condition are left up. Old ones or excess ones have been removed.

Wall Art: We have removed a few of the pieces we are particularly fond of, or that are particularly

valuable (with the exception of the stained glass of the Goddess Diana the huntress in the foyer, which is

hard to remove). The wall art that remains we plan to leave up for the tenants use. If the tenants wish

to replace them, they can be carefully stored in the basement until such time as the owners may pick

them up to place in storage or bring to CT.

Window Treatments: All windows have window treatments, but they could use upgrading. If a tenant

undertakes this task (curtains or shades), the landlord will reimburse a reasonable amount of money, on

the understanding the treatments will remain with the house after any lease ends.
