Never moved in and am charged over $5000 reflecting on my credit report! I was hired, and shortly found out I needed to have surgery, as a military spouse at the time I could not leave the military base's hospital and be treated elsewhere. I was told not to worry about it and that no paperwork was signed. I get told there is an electronic signature (fraudulent) as well as the company was "taken over" by another company so there is no proof of me ever even visiting.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I had an incident involving a violent roommate who stole from me and my other roommates. We contacted the Redland property management and law enforcement numerous times to resolve our issues without success. After my roommates got into a fight, I fled my apartment and moved into a new place. The following week, I returned one morning to find my roommate's guest passed our on my bathroom floor. When she turned violent and approached me, I locked myself in my room and called police. Law enforcement strongly suggested I move out immediately due to the unsafe living environment. Rather than accommodate my living situation and address the issues at hand, the Redland Apartments and Rent Athens forced me to keep my lease pay my rent regardless of the violation of my lease agreement. I will NEVER lease with Rent Athens EVER AGAIN! Take my advice and DO NOT LIVE HERE! They do not care about you or your safety. Once you sign the lease agreement, all they want is your money. Safe yourself the trouble I faced and DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

I had a really bad experience living here.
I was charged over $700 in fees that were not legit, especially because we left the apartment in better condition than it was moving in (for example my roommate had BLACK mold, which was only painted over -- when moving in). Also, the air filter was never changed, I have chronic lung problems, so my parents had to change it.
A lot of maintenance and terrible service, in my experience.

Don't move here. Just don't do it. It's not worth the stress. They ripped out my shower and I was down sharing one bathroom (toilet and shower) with 3 other girls. It took them a month and a half to fix my bathroom, 4 months later and they still haven't fixed the molding around the shower or fixed the caulking. They have 3 different people come in and rip out the shower, put it back in and rip it out again because NONE OF THE MAINTENANCE ARE CERTIFIED OR KNOW WHA THEY ARE DOING! They put WALL CAULKING IN THE SHOWER! AND IT'S MOLDING AND THEY WON'T FIX IT! On top of THAT they left dust and everything around my apartment for the entire duration they were fixing my shower! My apartment was embarrassing and inhabitable.
Manager slammed the door in my face and is completely unreachable. She is rude and doesn't care about you.
This complex isn't bad. Pros: The pool and hot tub are nice, and you can print stuff for free in the computer lab. Maintenance...
This complex isn't bad. Pros: The pool and hot tub are nice, and you can print stuff for free in the computer lab. Maintenance responds to your requests by the next day, and the student employees are nice (the manager is another story...). Apartments are furnished for no extra charge (although the furniture is TACKY), and you get a washer/dryer. The complex has fun social events and gives out free stuff weekly (from cups to gift cards). My favorite part - utilities included!
Cons: The show apartment looks MUCH nicer than the apartment you'll get. Countertops are tacky (could be red, blue, or green depending) and appliances are old. VERY small kitchen and hardly any storage space. You WILL have bugs, it's unavoidable no matter what floor you live on. All in all, you get what you pay for.
The manager is aggressive and rude to students. Stay away from here.
Aggressive management; they think just about taking out money out of your packet, they don't think about their reputation, just money!... zero rating!
Totally would rate this place a 0 for poor management and the way they talk down to students
