The Gardens at Del Ray is a great place to live. If you are looking for a solid place to live in a wonderful neighborhood then look no further. The apartments are walking distance from multiple coffee shops and playgrounds. And also in a quiet area surrounded by single family homes. It is nice. Manager Robin and her staff are very helpful and have a good response time to any issues that may arise. Our two bedroom/ one bath was a great size and had a lot of natural light. We did have issues with mold on our bedroom wall under the window in the winter time but the maintenance staff came quickly and took care of it. (It is an older building) They came and took care of any issue we had in a timely manner. Even on our last week they came to replace our W/D which had died. I was really impressed. The outside common area was always nicely kept. With picnic tables and chairs, outside was a great place to relax or have a small party. The building itself seemed to be well maintained. It is an older building but has recently (in the last 10 years) been updated. All this being said, The Gardens is a very nice place. I would live there again if I ever moved back to DC.
