I lived in this complex for one year. The sewer backed up into my apartment at least every other day. At one point water leaked into my bedroom from upstairs through my light fixture. I could not believe how awful it was to wonder when the sewer would back up. I was told that it was an older building and the pipes needed to be replaced but there was not enough money to do so. If you need a place to live this is not the place to do so. My experience at this apartment was awful.

Absolutely would not recommend renting here unless your in a pinch. First off, the rooms are nothing like whats pictured on the website... the cabinets are as if from the 60s, the buildings look like jail cells, the walls are paper thin, etc. etc.... we had some young kids move in above us who absolutely brutal with loud banging noises all throughout the day/night... almost lost my sanity.... also the parking situation is trash... we were never told we would have to pay for parking and didnt find this out till we arrived....speaking of which, Denise was the worst leasing agent ive ever dealt with... she was very unresponsive when trying to sign a lease remotely... and when we would meet with her she was always in a rush and defensive.... the other leasing agents in the office were better though...additionally if you ever try to call this office you will most definitely be directed to their "calling center"... this center houses some of the most pathetic incompetent employees Ive ever dealt with. They always reply to any of my questions with "Im going to have to request a callback for that"..... waste of time, everytime. Within the first few weeks living here our liscence plate was stolen, our cars were consistently knicked up by other tenants... our one car was run into causing damage, of course nobody left a note... when we went into the office to ask if they had cameras up (which was advertised) the office responded that they were currently not working.... One day I came home from work and parked my car only to have some random woman Ive never seen in my life start harassing me and screaming at me for absolutely no reason at all..the parking lots are always filled with wanna-be gangs, staring you down with anger for no reason. Only positive i really can say is the maintance requests for us were always completed rather quickly. Do yourself a favor and don't rent here.... Id acknowledge that a lot of the stuff I wrote above is not necessarily the leasing office's fault (in fact, other than denise, every other employee in the office was mostly pleasant to interact with), but the other negative intangibles described should be enough to not waste your time and moneyhere.

Hidden lake apartment's is not the place to move, if you care about being taken care of as a tenant. Management and maintenance is a joke. I called at 8:15 am today 6/8/18 to report literally a pool of urine and urine in the cigarette ash tray right outside the elevator entrance. Maintenance came by at 12 and didn't clean it. At 2pm went to office and all they said is that they are aware. I'm like really. Nothing like the pleasant smell if urine. And aside from that they literally go to lunch all day. Never back when they say. Makes me want to work here so I can enjoy taking advantage of bldg management and collect a paycheck. *Update* they cleaned up around 4:30pm! But urine is still in ash tray

Wish I could rate this place lower. Has not been the second since the change in Management. Vanessa is probably the worse leasing agent I've ever had to deal with. Her customer service skills are pretty poor. She speaks in a condescending tone regardless whether you've always paid on time or not. I've seen better skills from the dog turds the tenants refuse to pick up. Management is almost non-existent, Saturdays they close for 2-3 hours for lunch. But sure as Hell they'll raise your rent every year and talk about "market average". As if the market average was to have roaches, crappy pipes and plumbing, mice and unruly neighbors. If you're thinking of moving here, don't. If you already live here, look someplace else. Adams county housing authority is my next stop.

The Good: Nothing The Rest(Bad): The entire complex is a very loud environment with mostly ruckus from kid's playing. Also filled with drunken or high individuals that urinate in public or leave trash on the grounds. Groups of wanna-be gangs hanging out in the lots mean-mugging and threatening people. Walls and floors are paper thin; you can hear every stomp and door slam. Tenants above my unit persist to make extremely loud banging sounds, running and jumping up and down, and management is not responsive, nothing has been done as I have even recorded hours of audio from above. Audible fights going on next door and throughout the building. There's supposed to be a quiet period from 10pm-7am but the noise continues at all hours. Since I've moved in, I haven't been able to sleep a full night!! Security showed up at first but has not solved the noise problem, essentially placing the blame on my shoulders....wow! People sitting on stairs drinking, smoking weed and cigarettes in front of children and in plain view! Loud music and parties all over the complex, loud bass below every night! Basically none of the community policies are enforced as promised. Be wary of the promises the staff makes about the units, as they aren't as good as advertised. It's a good fit for my credit rating as an intermediate housing option for now. But if you enjoy quiet and sleep, this isn't the place for you! I'm counting down the days until I won't have to sleep with headphones on...ugh!!

Please respect my time and everyone else's time. If you say your office opens at 2:00 please open at 2:00 and don't be showing up at 2:26 with your food. Being once late for 20 minutes is acceptable. Twice...3, 4, 5, countless times is unprofessional. Otherwise please change your signage to 2:30 that way we won't be standing outside in the cold for 20 minutes or so. At least please show that we are important to you by showing up to work on time. I hope this is not too much to ask.

The abesolute worst apartment complex in Colorado they tell you one thing when trying to leave then hit you with a termination fee that wasn't explained the apartments are flithy and moldy the complex just tells u to open you window when u shower then then take care of the mold now I am in 2k debt with them over something that was not explained when trying to leave the apartment was told I had to pay the last two months to leave after paying my last month I verified with there management that I would no more money now as of today they charged me 2k... DO NOT RENT HERE u will regret every penny spent and money ur friends will pay in towing when they visit u after work

In June my apartment flooded with water along with several others they didn't bother to go vacuum up my carpet or double check another day if everything was good. 3 days ago I called for maintenance because there was a random puddle of water coming up from my carpet it had been going on for about 2 weeks they still haven't fixed the problem there is mold under the carpet and they moved all my appliances so I can't even cook. It stinks and I'm 6 months pregnant I shouldn't even be smelling all that nasty ass stuff. Horrible experience !!

Ahora cada rato tengo que estar fumigando por que ah cucarachas y es un fastidio y como yo ah muchas vecinas que dicen lo mismo ! Ya haba cucarachas y dicen que uno las trajo !

still a one star review because there are still so many issues but the good ting is they recently hired this excellent maintenance guy named TONY who is able to thoroughly diagnose the kitchen and bathroom problems and is committed to quality work. He does not do quick fixes and does not tolerate at all mediocre work. Hope he stays and he deserves appreciation from the management. I am glad to still find people who are committed to quality service. Thank you, Tony!

Office staff are nice and inviting never have an issue with them at all plesent experience everytime I go in to pay rent or submit a maintnance request Denise especially is very friendly and warm and makes it easy when an issue arises. That being said my partner and I keep a very clean apartment and a few months ago out of nowhere we start seeing roaches crawling out of the tub drain we put in a pest control request and it was sprayed we thought all was well no problems I even asked Denice if I could see what the pest guy had said and she was nice enough to show me he said there were no further signs on in infestation, but here we are two month later and there back!! This time in my kitchen cabinets around my food since we clean daily it leads me to believe one of the surrounding units has them and were suffering the consequences, if it wasnt for this issue I would give 5 stars that being said everything else is great just want this roach problem nipped in the bud before it gets out of control.

Every Saturday...every Saturday I have to call them to have the laundry room open! EVERY SATURDAY! Sometimes it opens at noon and sometimes at 2:00 p.m! If management would just say theyll open it at noon or 2:00 I am fine with it but if you say you on the door it opens at 9:00 then open it at 9:00!!! People are working to pay rent and want their laundry done to get to work! we pay our rent on timeit would be fair if you would open the laundry room on time! Second, these people just do quick fixes our garbage disposal has been broken several timesthey just do quick fixes that never fixes the problem Management before was a whole lot better just sayingThe only great thing here is Johannathe only person who makes sure the job gets done

If you have ANY choice, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. The staff is lazy, they close the office to take an hour lunch break everyday, despite the fact that it's not posted on their office hours. It took 3 months for them to fulfill a maintenance request, there is dog poop and broken glass EVERYWHERE. If you don't have a choice, ask to work with Denisse. She is seemingly the only person in the office that understands it's her responsibility to help the residents. And oh yea, you have to pay $8/mo for regular parking, otherwise your vehicle will be towed at your expense...$300. Don't make the same mistake I did.

the maintenance and grounds people are extremely lazy, the swimming pool's and laundry rooms are never open on the weekends, i am a tenant and when i asked a group of 4 grounds and maintenance men and women why this is so on the weekends the first thing that was said from a cleaning lady is "do you pay money here?" in broken English, i answered yes of coarse but also a Hispanic male started talking in Spanish to the woman very aggravated and pointing his finger at me, i was very offended and embarrassed. also the men said that they dont know why the pool and laundry rooms are not open. its very unfortunate for myself and other tenants that live here and pay a lot of money for swimming pools on site laundry rooms and a gym that we cant use when the office is closed and grounds people decide not to come in to do they're jobs to let tenants enjoy what they pay for.

One of the worst run apartments in the Denver metro area. Not one good thing to say about the apartments themselves (pests, stains, small, ugly, no plans for remodel, elevators are for show only) Management WILL cut your lock off your garage when doing "upkeep" and leave it unlocked, no kidding, this happened. I honestly believe that they have gone out of their way to hire the dumbest and slowest office workers out there. Be prepared for office personnel to misfile, lose, or hand out to anyone your personnel information, again, this actually happened. I swear I lose brain cells speaking with those morons. On top of all this, they will look down on you, and you are always wrong. Seriously, stay away at all costs, cardboard box on the ally really is better. Oh, and I'll bet my next paycheck that all these 5 star reviews are from employees. There is nothing good here.

During my time here, I've been very impressed by how maintenance has handled any issues that arise (which in my case were typically pretty small). Any time I've had a problem, they've typically come by to repair it in a day or less after I submitted a work order online. Also, the property manager is a very nice, accommodating lady who was willing to work with me when I needed to leave due to being hired out-of-state. Parking can get a little tricky late at night, but I feel like that's to be expected to some degree because everyone has come home for the day and I don't view it as a problem. They've become stricter about random nonresidents who aren't guests leaving their vehicles in the lot, which has helped. I've also never felt unsafe leaving my car in the lot overnight. As for my apartment itself, I still can't get over the view I have of Mt. Evans. Once October or November hit and snow comes to the Front Range and all the leaves start to turn, it's to die for. This apartment was just the right size for me, and the rent is pretty good for the area. All in all, it gets my recommendation.

If I could give them negative stars I would this place isn't worth the dirt on my shoes. Since day one it's been nothing but problems. BEWARE!! This place is rampant with BED BUGS!!!! No matter how many times they spray they WILL come back. I called and emailed the office 5 separate times to get someone to come spray and no one ever returned my calls. I ended up having to go in just to find the two girls who work there playing on the computer together instead of actually working. When they finally did spray, the workers completely tore my apartment apart and left everything is disarray. The complex is absolutely disgusting, trash everywhere as well as dog waste. There is NEVER parking after dark, there have been many nights where I have had to park on the complete opposite side of the complex. Neighbors are noisy and have no respect, people actually let their dog use the bathroom in the elevator, like literally take a dump right in the elevator and not pick it up, it has happened on many occasions as well as people smoking in the elevator. They gave me a laundry key to access the laundry room but the key has NEVER worked, if they close the door you are just outta luck, not that it matters though because out of 4 washers 2 have been broken for months. Water gets shut off ALL the time with no warning. Girls in the office are rude and cannot do their job probably. I have been in there countless times because they have lied about what I owed, they have tried charging me late fees before even though I paid before the late fee kicks in, and forgetc about getting one of them on the phone it's impossible. These apartments are so incredibly tiny and over priced. They expect you to pay almost 1000 dollars for a dirty, nasty, bed bug infested unprofessional apartment. It's ridiculous, I have been here a year and am counting the days until I can leave. Seriously the WORST apartments ever I have made sure everyone I come into contact with knows to STAY AWAY!!!!

Anytime I have made maintenance requests, everything is taken care of in a timely and reasonable manner. The grounds and overall appearance of these apartments are kept clean and maintained beautifully. Everyone that I have seen on these grounds working are professional and friendly always greeting with a nod, a smile, and a hello, which gives me a feeling of community. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!! I work for an agency and was looking for affordable housing for one of my clients. I ran across the Hidden Lake Apartments and went in to talk to one of the ladies at the leasing office. After getting the okay to go ahead and apply online, we were informed we could do the whole application and deposit process online. After doing so, we were informed that our client was not accepted, NOT ONLY THAT, but they went ahead and took our deposit even though we were not accepted!! This was over a month ago!!! I have been into the office a couple times, as well as called them personally over the phone, we are still trying to figure out where our deposit is that we put down. This apartment complex is with holding over $600 of our cash STILL!! It has been over a month of nothing but constant horrible customer service. I am STILL waiting on not only our check to be reimbursed, but for someone to get back to me and fill me on on where our check is, as well as WHAT IS GOING ON!!!! ....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
