The most uncomfortable place I have ever lived. Let me first state that while it may look like a cozy quiet community on the outside, The Enclave offers one of the most cramped and clustered environments, akin to a trailer park, in the Washington Twp area. The apartments themselves are very drab with white walls throughout, cheap cabinets, and incredibly, no in wall lights in any room. The water pressure in the showers was abyssmal and would barely come out at a decent pressure and it would take usually about 10 minutes for the water to heat to a decent temperature. The plumbing was also disgusting as it would usually have a foul smell coming from it, even when we first moved in. Overall the apartments themselves are very cheap and don't ever come across as "home." But now comes the point in my review where The Enclave truly earns it's one star rating in spades. The management, headed by a couple known as Chris and Yvonne, are some of the most rude and nasty people I have ever met. Expect calls at any hour of the day running the gambit from them complaining that your car is parked incorrectly to not having appropriate blinds (we installed different blinds to escape the white drab atmosphere but no, that too was against the rules) to even her complaining that we were walking at an in appropriate hour. Chris is the other manager that is more apparent throughout the complex in a more "prison warden-esque" way. He is typically driving around in his tan town and country Mini Van patrolling the area and giving an uncomfortable scowl to any resident that comes in his path. When dealing with Chris on a personal level it is also very uncomfortable. There was a time when we called maintenance due to plumbing problems (which are also very frequent at The Enclave) and of course it was Chris that arrived, dirty disgusting plunger in hand. Rather than identify the real issues with the plumbing Chris simply took the plunger and did what he deemed necessary and walked out while it was still dripping throughout our carpet on his way out, dirty shoes still on his feet. Literally no respect for the tenant. Overall our tenure at The "Enclave" was a very uncomfortable one and I implore all potential tenants to svoid this place. The management is the most uncomfortable I have ever dealt with and the apartments themselves are very eery to live in. Overall I would say the complex is a glorified trailer park at best.

After becoming engaged and trying to sell my condo, I needed to rent an apartment for 6 months until our wedding date. What a perfect place this is. Working for the nearby park it was within bike distance, and the recreation that the park and bike path allowed was great. The biggest bonus is the Enclave allows dogs. I have an active dog that likes to go outside a lot, and I did not want to have to walk down steps and have her on a leash every time I let her out. I rented an apartment that over looked a farmers field and it was so peaceful! There are tons of long term renters at the Enclave, so it becomes more of a place to live than a place to rent! I would recommend this place to anyone! Loved it!

When I began my hunt for an apartment, I loved The Enclave's location, pricing, and floorplans. The attached garages are a major bonus and many other apartments in the area only offer detached garages or carports. It's near two golf courses, a HUGE park, and a 26 mile pave recreation path runs right across the street. After hunting all over for ratings of The Enclave online, I found none! Although concerned at first that I didn't have very much information, I realized that it was actually a plus! If this place has been around 11 years (built in 1999) and has no ratings it is probably because no one has anything to complain about! I was ready to move-in and sign a lease after speaking with Kay in the office. She was very pleasant and more than helpful. When I explained that I would need temporary housing for two weeks until I would start work, she researched and found several hotels nearby my new job and gave me their information. Last minute I found an employee who works at my company who was looking for a roommate and offered me the second bedroom in his apartment. When I called Kay to let her know that I wouldn't be renting there, she was still as pleasant as always! I know that if I ever am in the market for a new apartment in the area, I will certainly be renting at The Enclave!
