Incident 1 (CREDIT CHECK) Upon approval and waiting for the results, instead of the manager discussing it with us together she took it upon herself to just discuss it with my boyfriend. Going over my entire credit report with him. I didn't feel like that was fair, after going over the report with him she proceeded to ask detailed questions about our relationship. Incident 2 (NO HOT WATER) After living in our apartment for a few months over the summer the hot water out of know where would be off. This happened twice, the first time I text Corinne asking about the situation She said it would be back up shortly and it was. The second time this happened I had neighbors complaining to me about it, asking if i had hot water. I checked to see if my hot water was on. It was not on. Text the manager, Our plumber is working on the water heater. It shut down and we needed to fix it. I asked if she had any idea when it would be back up? She never responded. I tried calling, no answer. After calling several times that day and not getting an answer not even a response to my text, I decided to send an email. By this time it was 7pm and I was very upset. I had to take a cold shower, wash dishes with cold water my guests that I had over were also very uncomfortable even washing their hands. Thats great that they were maintaining the building but how bout a letter or email a text or even a simple phone call. Not okay! Incident 3 (Broken into Car) I woke up on a very lovely morning to look out of my window and find that my car door was pride and left wide open. When I double checked to make sure everything I needed was still in my car my registration was missing along with miscellaneous belongings. when I called management to check the surveillance Corinne said she would. well she never ever got back to me about the incident. Incident 4 (STRANGER DANGER) Incident #4 was the very last straw for my boyfriend and I, now keep in mind my boyfriend is the kindest person and rarely complains about anything. On this particular day I was just getting out of the shower. I forgot to bring a towel into the bathroom with me. I walked to the bedroom to get myself a towel when I heard my front door close. knowing my boyfriend was at work, I was so scared. I pulled a kitchen knife and began to put my clothes on as fast as I could. once dressed i proceeded to investigate after looking around and not seeing anyone I called management, which by the way I did not get an answer. So I tried texting than management sends me a text back saying how it was a mistake they thought the apartment was vacant. LIES!!!! How and why would you think the apartment is vacant? our lease was NO where close to ending. After telling my boyfriend about the incident he was so concerned he left work early and called management himself to find out what happened. The owner, not the manager Corinne but her mother was so incredibly rude to my boyfriend WE ALREADY SPOKE WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND ABOUT IT. IT WAS A MISTAKE. I don't care if you already explained it a hundred times! you have no right to yell, to be rude or be annoyed. you made the mistake. I would not recommend this place to anyone. we paid our rent early every single month, we are quiet, polite but for the most part kept to ourselves. I felt like we were constantly being watched. management is very rude all the way around from the daughter who is the manager to the mother who is the owner. I really am very confused and not sure what we could've done on our part to make the experience any better. As for the apartment itself it is cozy nice size starter place for a single person. The walls are very thin and and the laundry room is outdated the dryer took about an hour and a half to fully dry a load and the washer didn't do the best job, sometimes overflowing with water coins would constantly get stuck in the slot. there's a really nice laundromat about 5 mins away. several actually. Would I ever consider this place again? NO, NEVER! Would I recommend this place? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
