Extortionist Parking Practices. Leasing team is very unhelpful/unavailable. The parking garage (not even owned by the apartment) is a racket that will ticket you and everyone who visits you the second there is a discrepancy. On top of already having to pay $70 a month, I missed a monthly payment because I was getting a new credit card - and that same day I found a $30 ticket on my windshield threating to tow my car if i did not pay it. I renewed my account and called the parking company "Goodspeed parking" - who pretty much replied with "sucks to be you".

Nice apts, energy-efficient, model, app related services such as entering the apartment, all services are done online only , ( paying rent, maintenance requests , etc.) The leasing team is remote too online as well will send you all instructions for touring the apt via emailing you. Be aware, there's no Elevators here. If you drive, and park determine what floor you will live on. The remote leasing team are very nice, helpful, and attentive to all your concerns. You do get the chance to speak directly to them as well. Not too far from the Twinbrook Metro Station. If you are driving, you are all set for shopping, dining, however, if you don't drive, it could be a height to get to these places using public transportation. Remember, this is a smoke free and pet free community with no elevators.

I've been living at Kanso Twinbrook for about two months. I really love it- everything has been easy to set up and communication has been really great despite there being no leasing office in the building. I have yet to deal with any maintenance issues, but the maintenance team is routinely in the building and they keep everything in really good shape. I have not personally experienced any noise issues. Parking is $70/m for the first car and the garage is open to guest parking and is never fully packed. I do feel very safe both in the garage and in my apartment. The only reason I cannot give five stars is the rent fluctuation. I moved to the area for a job that will last 26 months, and was hoping to sign a 15 month and subsequent 12 month lease for the same unit. I understand that rent increases are normal, but I had anticipated some protection from a 25+% increase. So far, rent has increased on units similar to mine by about $400/per month. I don't feel like I have any security as far as being able to afford the second lease. I love living here, but I might have thought twice about selecting this community if I knew I was probably going to have to move again so soon.
