Welcome home to this classic 1929 Craftsman in Portland's sought-after Grant Park neighborhood. Built in 1929, this spacious home blends classic Craftsman details with everyday comforts like central air conditioning and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, offering the best of both historic charm and modern convenience.
Step inside to a spacious central foyer where original oak floors, detailed millwork, and the beautiful staircase immediately set the tone. The living room and dining room sit on either side of the entry, creating welcoming spaces filled with natural light, oversized windows, and the warmth that makes homes like this so enduring.
The kitchen offers abundant cabinet storage, granite countertops, and a charming butler's pantry-style area near the back entrance for even more storage and workspace. Main-floor washer and dryer hookups add everyday convenience, while the spacious deck overlooks the fully fenced backyard—an inviting place to relax, entertain, or enjoy time outside with your pets.
Just off the living room, the main-level bedroom is one of the home's most versatile spaces. Filled with natural light and featuring a ceiling fan, direct access to the backyard, and a full bathroom just around the corner, it works equally well as a bedroom, family room, media room, guest suite, library, or home office.
Upstairs you'll find three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a bonus space that's perfect for a home office, craft room, reading nook, playroom, or hobby space.
The unfinished basement provides exceptional storage for bikes, camping gear, seasonal décor, and all the extras that come with Pacific Northwest living.
Living in Grant Park means enjoying one of Northeast Portland's most beloved neighborhoods. Spend an afternoon at Grant Park, grab coffee at a neighborhood café, explore the shops and restaurants along NE Broadway, or make a quick trip to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. With the Hollywood District, Laurelhurst, and downtown Portland just minutes away, you'll enjoy the convenience of city living while coming home to one of Portland's most desirable neighborhoods.
Please Note: The interior is currently being professionally repainted in a fresh neutral white throughout the home. The current photos reflect the existing paint colors, which will soon be replaced with a bright, updated finish.
