WOW!! What an amazing event SoChella the social hosted today! Lots of people came out, there was live music, the employees were outside talking to all of the residents, super friendly making sure we were having a great time, WHICH WE WERE! Definitely would recommend anyone to come live here, friendly staff, and all around an amazing place to live.

I wish I could give it zero star. The only reason Im still here its because I hate moving not because of the price because Id rather pay more to have a better living standard. Theyre horrible. I have been living for almost three years for two years I paid a reasonable price then they charged me a $50 fee that I didnt know about. When I called the office, it turned out its for utilities when they tell you everything is included. How could I be charged $50 for utilities when the lease specifically stated everything is included in my rent. Theres is no renovation to my apartment whatsoever. We still have the same dirty carpet, the same ugly kitchen, everything is literally the same but my rent went though the roof. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Cant wait to get out!

Although the apartment itself is decently nice with relatively no bugs (but there are some), the people who work here obviously know that their main tenants are vulnerable college aged students, and therefore try to take advantage of them monetarily with a bunch of unexplained fees and do not have any concern for tenants privacy. I have had a maintenance worker and office worker both unlock the door and barge into my boyfriends apartment when they didnt think anyone was home to check on things and ask if anyone was renewing their lease. Clearly he and his roommate definitely wont be. We may be young, but were not dumb.

This is a challenging review. There is much right, and wrong here. The staff was nice and the accomidations were a plenty. My thing is, sometimes places try to be all things to all people. This is a hip spot that caters to the millennial crowd. The living us very dorm like and a mix of free form and community. It comes off as confused. All that to say, it works. The workout room is okay, the living quarters are decent. I would say it works for a college ed. No more no less.

I was nervous moving into this apartment complex because it is not as well-known as some on 42nd street. But the people here are amazing and the place is quiet. You get a lot of space for a two bedroom apartment. The only two things that could change is more visitor parking and the gate access to the plaza is chained locked so you can't get through.

I currently stay here and I must say this has been one of the worst decisions I have made since living here in Tampa. The online pictures and model rooms are nice but the actual living spaces where residents live are horrible. I currently stay in one of the renovated 2 bedroom apartments which the only thing renovated is the carpet and the walls being painted grey. My first day moving in I took a shower and the drain was clogged. There is no cold water when taking the shower and if you are not careful you can scold yourself from the hot water. The water pressure is very low for the showers which feels like your better off dumping a bucket of water on yourself just to rinse off. They give you a gate key and pass to park but the gates are always open allowing people who do not live here to just come in whenever they feel like it. I would post pictures of the current situation that violates so many health codes but I am trying to be nice and resolve this with them before I take it to corporate. The main reason I am writing this review is because the overall deal with this place is not acceptable and they are just swallowing up your money for poor quality service. I am warning anyone think about staying here to find some where else because this is not worth the money they are asking for.

The experience of living in The social is just nightmare! 1. When we move in, the sofa, dining table, chairs are broken. That's ok, we can understand they are busy. 2. However, they are ALWAYS too busy to response emails or fix things. One time, our AC stopped working but there is no response over 3 days after we reported, further, it took them over ONE WEEK to fix it. Yes, this community is in Florida! 3. If you have the same thought as mine that it is cheap so we can stand it. AHHHHHHH! Be careful! As far as I know, 8 residents including myself were charged around $400 for each room! 5. This is not the end. I sent emails and called them to ask the reason. If it is really my fault, I will avoid them in the future. But they just DO NOT response the emails. It has been one month. I have to call them and suffer from their rudeness again and again. 6. I can not just wait because They asked me to pay through Rent Collect Global in 30 days. However, I called 6 times during these 44 days and Rent Collect Global always told me they have not received my documents yet. I also called The social, they just told me to wait. Now I have to consult LAWYER about who will be responsible for the bad record in my credit and I don't know how many more days this nightmare will last.

The community areas are modern and relaxing. The renovated apartments are really nice. No building complex is perfect and depending on the age of the apartment and your roommates your are bound to have some minor issues. With that being said, I would definitely like to be able to lease an apartment here next year. The price is great and location is super convenient.

It is hit and miss when it comes to his apartment being cool. The office staff is nice and they do need to fix the car wash as they are all paying for it as an amenity and can't use it. A nice class action lawsuit would get their attention.

Just look at all the 1 star reviews. These people really don't care about their tenants UPDATE: Trying to move out and they sent an email to everyone that IF you dont move out before the 28th of the month you cant get a walk through to mke sure you get your deposit back. So I called the front office to schedule my walk through and they say oh you cant have a walk through, not unless all your room mates are going to move out the same day. What!!!?! Like who in the world does that! Im not responsible for other individuals and their move out dates!! So just because we dont move out the same day Im not allowed to get a walk through to ensure my deposit is returned!!!! These people are crooks!!!!

Pros: If you can get past the cons that I will put below, the place was fine for the price. Cons: Fill out your move-in condition sheet. I can't emphasize that enough. Take pictures and get someone from the office to sign off on the damages that may be present in the apartment. I was charged $60 at the end of my lease for damages that were already present in the apartment when I moved in. Even worse, I was charged for a damage in the bathroom that was completely nonexistent to me and my mom. When I tried fighting the charge with both IQ Data and the apartment complex, The Social refused to back out of the charge, even when I had evidence supporting my claim. This evidence included a filled-out move-in sheet and pictures showing the damages in the apartment. Along with that, I had a friend get towed for parking at the clubhouse one night. It was never clarified to residents that guests could not park in front of the clubhouse.

While living there for a year, My AC stopped working 5 times and it took them a minimum of 3 days to fix it each time. Imagine being in Florida in the summer time with no A.C? Garbage disposal was broken and stinking for a whole week before they came and fixed it. When you move out make sure you do the regular checkout and not the express checkout. They will charge you for everything they can. My roommates and I were charged 400+ dollars at move out. I would give them a 0/5 if i could.

There isn't a lot I can complain about, overall I have enjoyed staying at the social. There has been a lot of improvements since I first moved in. I did have a problem with my account in the beginning that took more time then it should have to resolve. The fan in the restroom is very sensitive and turns on randomly which is very annoying. The gym equipment can be fixed and it would be nice to have hand sanitizer in the dispenser. The car wash was down for a while but now that it's in service, it's convenient. I'm not sure how it is in other buildings but for the most part, there hasn't been much noise in my building.

I have had countless problems with the front office throughout the years. I try my best to avoid having to deal with them, but there are some things you can't avoid. The front office pretend to be nice when you approach them, but when you have a real problem they are rude and unhelpful. Recently, I came home at 11pm and the my front door was left unlocked and opened! And this was not me or my roommate who had been gone all day, it was the apartments vendors apparently. I was furious and the apartment ignored my calls for a week then responded when all the vendors had left and "apologized" saying "its not like we meant to leave your door open" and did not do anything about it. Last year, all my roommates had moved out and I stayed (having signed the lease for the next year) they left some furniture on the porch and in the apartment and I was told it was my responsibility to dispose of it. They were very unprofessional about it, and made it seem like I was responsible for anything left behind because it was my apartment. Overall, good to be in if you want cheap rent, but awful apartment in all other respects.

After 8 month and for the first time I forgot to pay my rent before deadline. and funny thing is I renewed my lease with them just a week ago! I remembered at 10:30 that I had to pay rent,,, so I left my office and went straight to leasing office to pay it ASAP,,,They told me if I had my check in mailbox before 9:00AM than i didn't have to pay late fees but since its 10:50 AM I should pay 50$ more! our Remote control was also broken from day 1 and me and my roommate asked them several time to come over and fix it,,,,every time after a day it wasn't working again.until the fourth time which they brought us an original remote control. P.S. Its a quiete complex in general and most of leasing office staffs are nice.

I lived this apartment for 2 years. I know it was ridiculous, the reason may i am to lazy to moving. During the second year I stayed, I almost report to my air condition is not working every month. Yes, the fixing always just insist for 1 month. Actually, that is fine for me. The most make me angry is when I move out, they charged me ridiculous money and manger, a female with bad bad rude attitude. My lease was ending on July 31, but i need went to other state in early July . So i asked Kelly about move out , that bad manger, she told me if I can move out before July 3rd, they not going to charge my July rent fee, you can save money to travelling. I am happy and move out on July 3rd, and stay a week on my friend's apartment. However, she cheating me and charging my July rent fee. When I called her, her attitude is so rude. Actually, when you living this apartment, she called you honey. when bad thing happened, she turn to be so so rude person immediately. On the phone, she even told me you can say nothing since you move out. And when I check out, they told me just charge 5$ for mailbox key from your security deposit , then charge me 25 dollars. The reason Kelly told me is i didn't pay money when i moved out, however, her colleague told me it deducted from my security deposit. And basically, my apartment sometime have less 5 dollars overcharge fee, but they charged me 25 $ for June and July overcharge fee., even though i moved out on July 3rd. Also 400 $ for cleaning and broking fee, my gf and i clean it hardly and almost furniture are fine ( for something old is normally since i live this room for 2 years). Anyway, they cheating me so lot!!!! So bad experience!!! Ridiculous manager!!!
