I am writing this review because since day one I was struck by how clean and beautiful this location is. And I cannot thank Jade enough, she is an amazing property manager. She has gone above and beyond for myself and my roommates. I love this place and am blessed to call the Hive my home.

The Hive has been a great place to live as a USC student. Its a great location close to campus and the staff really made me feel at home will all the events they put on for residents. Ive lived here for two years, and I think the management has only gotten better with time. I would definitely recommend The Hive for student housing!

This property is Awesome for more reasons than one! Our apartment was newly and beautifully renovated, with all the modern amenities. It was absolutely spic and span when we moved in. It is just 4 mins walk to Ralphs the store with everything you need! Being in the DPS patrol area is very reassuring and the USC campus is a short 15 mins walk. So all in all extremely comfortable! The other residents here at The Hive- are very decent, friendly and helpful. Great neighborhood too where we feel welcome and safe!
All in all a great place to live in L.A.
Crista is just too good both personally and professionally. Though the office is not on-site but she is there every day to check on things, give tours ,help with move-ins and so on. She also very promptly replies to any messege sent to her and sorts the problems.

Just leased a 2 bedroom apartment here after looking at a lot of places in the area for the fall.
Location is great, on Ellendale place just a couple of minutes walk to campus. Fully renovated modern, furnished apartment. Crista made the leasing process a breeze and was super responsive. Looking forward to moving in!

I've been living at the Hive since August 2021, back when it was called Victory on Ellendale.
The Victory brand owned the Ellendale property until February 2022. The management was amazing. They took time to build personal connections with the residents, hosted events for us, and were very easy to communicate about all issues.
The apartments themselves are really nice. Bedrooms are decent but a little small but the common area is really big. It's modern, newly renovated, and comes with all furniture and utilities included.
Then, in February, Champion Real Estate sold Victory on Ellendale to the new property management, The Hive. The new management is alright but not nearly as good as Victory and far more disconnected from residents. There is construction going on so a lot of noise and they leave the gate open, which makes the area unsafe.
My main complaint is with how the transition between companies was handled, which I guess is Champion's fault more than anything. On the 1st of Feb (when our rent was due), the property management change was thrust on us with no notice, and we had to readjust and lose our old management.

The management team did such a great job being responsive to her with any issues that came up! Robyn the property manager is a great person and was always available for us . Thank you Robyn!

Lived in a shared bedroom for 1 year. Common area and kitchen are quite nice, plenty of space. Room is a little small for two people, but at the price point it seems comparable to everywhere else in the area. Property manager was helpful and responsive. Overall satisfied with the experience.
