I love the Camden Oak Crest Apartments! I have lived in many other apartments in my time here in Houston, and this is my favorite! They have great staff that is very friendly, and knows how to help you to your needs. The front office staff loves to get to know you and will want to help in any way they can. The gym is very well kept. It is clean and has most everything one would need to have a side workout in the morning or the evenings. They have an office with two monitors that you can do work on. There is also a printer for anyone who needs one. Great job Camden!

I went to get a tour were super friendly gave a different vibe completely , little did I know a friend of mine lived there they had 2 times stayed without help from maintenance people or leasing office were rude and non-communicative we called for help due to they were almost robbed someone banging and cursing at their door and they left me on hold for 30min and didn't even send anyone to help. They have had 2 to 4 cases of theft within past 3 months and the rent is still high and no security and they force them to have cable well I truly rethought of living there with those prices and no service might as well live in 3rd ward.

In a city where safety is a prime concern (not to forget bugs, roaches etc), Camden Oak Crest provides a safe, secure, serene, peaceful and well maintained environment. Just moved from a different state, explored over 20 communities and finally zeroed in on Oak Crest for peace of mind. Location is perfect with several shopping stores at a walking distance. Ashley was fantastic as my leasing consultant walking me through 'n' number of questions I had before I finally signed the lease. A star taken off because the property mandates to take add on technology packages along with the lease, but if your requirements are indeed getting a cable, then it's a 5+ star community!!

One thing I would like to point out that I did not see in the reviews prior to our move is that we seem to be having a roach issue in our apartment. We're very clean, but are still finding roaches on the walls in the dining room and our bedrooms - which is a little unnerving. Camden Properties may want to consider treating the inside of the walls before this becomes a real problem for us and the community. Weekly spraying for roaches does not contain or stop the infestation. I'll update again after a few rounds of pest control.

I've had an awesome living experience here! I moved in August and couldn't be happier. The rooms are spacious, the appliances are up-to-date, the complex and gym are kept clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating and the maintenance team is dependable and promptly responds to requests. My oven stopped working while I was cooking one night at 6:30pm and I was so relieved when Mirna picked up the phone. She notified maintenance and they came to replace my oven right then and there! I was back cooking at 7:30pm. Truly impressed with the management. I definitely recommend Camden Oak Crest Apartments :)

The location is nice as well with both a Walmart and HEB within easy walking distance, as well as plenty of restaurants nearby. We left after nearly a year only because of a move to another city. I have been resident of this apartmetns for more than a year and I must say it was a pleasure staying here. Its an Utopia in regards to almost all factors. All utility places(Grocery, Gas, Pharmacy, Doctor, School) are stone's throw distance. Management is extremely well and very responsive. Property manager Koti is very understanding and extend all her efforts to help. They have routine events with residents every now and then and now we have portal specific to this apartment. They recently installed Dozens of CCTV cameras along the peripheral of community to make it more secure. I am very happy to be the resident of this apartment.

I would not advise anyone to move there, the apartments are over priced for nothing, our apartment got broken into and no one told us we should set the alarm or came to set the alarm before that, they waited until that happened to do it. After that, 6 or 7 apartments got broken into in less than 3 months. So, if you want to keep your belongings safe, you know you shouldn't move there. Finally, when we moved out and everything was done in time and the way it is supposed to, you have no idea how much money they charged us. We had basic furniture, we are 2 people living in the apartment and we practically had no one come stay with us and when we left they told us they charged us for changing the carpet because it was "worn out". They charged us for so much money upon move out!!! so even though you are an organized person who will give the move out notice and do everything in time be prepared to pay too much money

Since moving to Houston, Texas in 2014, Camden Oak Crest has been the best living situation I've ever had in my life. After finishing my month 15 months lease with my roommate, I decided to stay another 15 months in own apartment. With me not able to drive, Camden Oak Crest is the perfect location for me with many stores, restaurants, and 10 minutes away from my job that I can see myself living here after my lease is up again. The office staff is super helpful and maintenance always comes to fix what anything you need in a 24 hour period. Thank you Camden Oak Crest for making me feel at home.
