Love it!! THE PEOPLE We were renting from out of state.Jess the Assistant Manager, was wonderful helping us find an apartment. We had been looking online and it was her friendliness and welcoming personality that sold us from the beginning. Everything went seamlessly. Adam and Dan have been helpful and never seem bothered by my questions. The Property Director Maryann actually knew my name the first day when I saw her in the hall. Since there are alot of people here I was really taken back.The maintenance staff are meticulous! They are prompt, thorough and friendly. Edwardo is very quick and accurate very respectful and friendly. The Supervisor personally came to install shower bars for us (due to an upcoming surgery.) The Caretakers are always working hard have such a nice attitude smiling all the time they must really enjoy their work and it shows. The place is really clean! The front desk Concierge Katrina is very personable and friendly seems to care and has knowledge of her job, the area and the building. My husband and I are very impressed overall. Its really important to us to feel comfortable where we are living as you see these people everyday. You want to feel welcomed. You do not want to feel like you are bothering people when you have a question. THE PROPERTY The apartments are really nice and spacious, higher ceilings, subway tile back splash, and nice wide dark stained base. Our apartment doesn't have the linen closet or medicine cabinet in the bathroom but the other positives override these issues. I love the rooftop deck and lounge, panoramic views of the city, the movie room and club room and many other amenities. The club room can be rented out for private parties. During the day or night you may see people in there on their laptops or watching TV, eating lunch or drinking coffee and there is free WiFi in the immediate area. In and outside the Club room and coffee area there are dozens of tables chairs, booths, couches, stuffed chairs, firm seating, all manner of furnishings for all different lounging and comfort levels.There are 3 bathrooms right off the club room area and one has a walk in shower. There are too many amenities and evens to mention. I thought I was in heaven when I saw the Starbucks machine available for residents. Side note: There are cups stocked but I heard someone say its better to bring your own mug. Hot Cocoa and Teas as well. The fitness center is laid out quite well with pretty much space between equipment. They supply mats and kettle Bells, medicine balls and hand weights. The equipment is in good shape I see people being respectful and wiping down after use. There is a space to stretch or do your own thing on a mat. They have free Pilates and Body Sculpting as well as Yoga on the roof. Pretty nice! Its also quiet and temp controlled. They do allow pets and if you have a furry one there are some grassy areas all around the building and the park is just 2 blocks away and the community has other dogs to socialize with. I never hear barking dogs. I havent used the pool but it looks inviting, clean and best of all not noisy. The Underground Parking is FREE~ Nice! Especially when it gets to be 47 below zero right? Did I mention the skyways between buildings? This way you can get to amenities easily no matter which building you are in. I don't this I've seen an apartment community this side of downtown with sky ways and I think its the only one in Edina if I am correct. THE NEIGHBORHOOD WOW! We are surrounded by stuff and things to do in all directions. I wouldn't know where to start or stop if I commented on all there is available here. This is one of the main reasons we chose this community over any other. Almost everything is walkable. Right next door to Southdale Mall right across from Cub Foods and on the other side of the Galleria a 2 minute walk. On foot you can get to Super Target in about 7 minutes and the entrance to Centennial Park in about 10. Pictures will be posted soon

We have been robbed on the property of One Southdale Place twice in the last year. The last time being over the weekend when...

We have been robbed on the property of One Southdale Place twice in the last year. The last time being over the weekend when our bikes were stolen from the parking garage. The bikes were locked to our storage unit. No one should have access to this building but residents. After speaking with management they said, "These things happen". They would not even think about reimbursing us. They did not send a memo out last year when cars were broken into and have yet to send one out about this incident. I just want everyone to be cautious and keep anything of any value in your apartment. This is not a very secure building and One Southdale takes no accountability for crime that happens on their property. We now have to pay $1,000 out of our pockets AGAIN! Management was aware of the situation and did not contact us, I had to contact them. The police are requesting the video footage and managements response was, "It's a busy Monday, I will get to it at some point today.". We pay too much in rent to have this happen and have management care so little about the situation.

Great location, great apartments and great service! The staff at One Southdale Place goes out of their way to make living at One Southdale Place a wonderful place to live. Facilities and apartment design are of high quality. Location is within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and movie theaters. Easy access to freeways and the airport. Highly recommended.

One Southdale Place is a beautiful facility to live at. I looked at various properties across the Twin Cities. One Southdale is a luxury...

One Southdale Place is a beautiful facility to live at. I looked at various properties across the Twin Cities. One Southdale is a luxury complex with lovely accommodations that are pet friendly. The staff is professional, courteous, responsive & treat residents with care. I have had a very positive experience living & would recommend this location. Jenny does a good job managing the campus. Jess does a very good job planning activities for residents & creates opportunities for inclusion. The concierge staff is incredible - Chris is top notch. Overall experience is 5 out of 5.

I feel lucky and grateful to have found my home at One Southdale Place. I moved into my apartment in September and couldn't be...

I feel lucky and grateful to have found my home at One Southdale Place. I moved into my apartment in September and couldn't be more delighted. The apartment has higher quality finishes, appliances, etc., than typical apartments in town, which is great (I love having a subway-tiled shower instead of one of those fiberglass surrounds!)...but the unexpected true benefit of living here is its staff. One Southdale Place is staffed by an on-site property manager, maintenance team and 24-hour concierge staff who have a common focus on providing a great experience for residents. When I'm out of town, they bring my dry cleaning and packages up to my apartment for me...if I have a maintenance related issue (a rarity in this beautiful new building), I can find someone to address it immediately...and if I'm just having a rough day, the concierge team offers a friendly welcome and a smile. If you're looking for a great new apartment, I wholeheartedly encourage you to check out One Southdale Place.

I definitely had an issue while moving out of the apartment. The management charged us 100$ for cleaning the apartment even though we had it deep cleaned before moving out. I would avoid this apartment if possible as it is extremely expensive & not worth the cost.
