Fair warning for any potential new tenants here. If you live in one of the apartments that is near the car vacuum/washing station, you will have a lot of noise. Because there is no gate to the complex and the vacuums are free, people who ARE NOT RESIDENTS come here to clean their cars, and many of them blast music incredibly loud to hear it over the vacuums. Oh, and sometimes people will come and do this in the middle of the night too. I have informed the office about this and was told I can call a courtesy officer when this happens, but outside of that it is unlikely they will be able to do anything about this problem. I am going to give that a try, but wish I didn't have to do that in order to have some reasonable level of peace and quiet. Other than that, this is truly a great and well run place. This has been the only issue I have had living here. Everything else is well run. I would highly recommend trying to get a unit that is not near or facing the car cleaning station.

I've lived here going on a year now and I have loved my experience. This complex is in a prime location (not far from Chapel Hill, downtown Durham, and I-40!). The folks at the leasing office are very friendly and accomodating, and the maintenance team is also very kind and responsive. I had a bed bug scare earlier this year and I am still amazed and appreciative of how responsive all the staff were in helping me mitigate the issue as soon as possible. As my first apartment out of college, the staff here have made the transition very seamless!

Really happy to be living here. Have been here for about 10 months. Love the apartment, it is well built and the community is quiet, with many families living here. This feels like home. The members of management team are all very responsive, approachable, and helpful. The maintenance crew, now that they have a full crew is one of the most responsive maintenance crews I have had at an apartment complex, and they solve any issue within a few days. I also appreciate how considerate they all are.. We hope to stay here for a few more years.

I really have enjoyed my time at realm! Ive been living here about six months so far and I love all the amenities and my spacious apartment. I think the 1bedroom layout is perfect !! However; I have had a few maintenance issues where Ive had to have someone come out multiple times before its fully fixed. Another issue I have is the trash service which we pay for monthly doesnt come when its supposed to, last week I had my trash out for three days in a row and no one ever came to pick it up. Besides that, realm is a great apartment complex, affordable and responsive staff as well!

My kids love the playground. I can work out when they are playing because they have sidewalk that circles around the playground. I find that very convenient. The pool is really nice in the summer as well. They have an area for our little kiddos to swim before it gets deep and they also have hammocks that are great for relaxing. We also love grilling by the pool when family comes up to visit. So far everyone has been nice. Also if something is needed they tend to fix it pretty fast which is huge for us. The other one thing I'd love to mention is the storage. From a mom's point of view it's extremely important to have that and this complex does have it. Oh, and the island. I told my husband it's going to be impossible to move unless we have one of these. I am in love with ours!
