"good value for money" This is just about the lease signing, I have not yet moved into Tradition. But just wanted to give a warning, these guys are hecklers. Don't believe them if they're telling you there's only one apartment left, there's a lot left for sure. Be wary of pressure tactics to push you into signing a lease. I ended up signing one with these guys, but I'm still hoping the management is better than my first impression. Edit : I've stayed here for a year now and I've had good experiences with the management. They are easily approachable and responsive. Also I'm satisfied with the value for money of my unit, the basic one. The gym is great, the pool is clean and the whole place is kept tidy. Would recommend for someone looking for their own room and bath. The only concern probably would be the area of the units, but that is a compromise you'd have to make.

Not overly amazing but definitely not bad. Most of the problems were relating to the fact that the building had just been renovated and they were behind schedule (like every other construction site in college station). The only actual things I didn't like were the narrow parking garage and how the hallways never got vacuumed but the bike area was perpetually being mopped.

Been living here for one year now and the main problem here are the fire alarms lol. Rooms are small but for 2x2 its reasonably priced with the amenities included (refrigerator, washer-dryer, tv, dishwasher, alexa ,microwave oven). Tradition beats most places because of its location and low cost.

overall good experience at this apartment, what stood out to me was the service the CAs provided, always ready to help with whatever we needed!

It is an amazing apartment. They have free food Fridays as well as free candy and coffee. The employees are extremely friendly and you only have one roomate which makes my life so much easier. We have our own private bedrooms and bathrooms as well.

Ever since the renovation, this complex has be wonderful! The staff is really sweet and helpful and the rooms themselves are in MUCH better condition then before. The appliances are all brand new, so everything works well. My only complaint is that the doors into your bedroom are a keypad, instead of a regular key, and mine has given me some issues before. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend living here!

I love it here! Great staff! They make you feel welcomed and at home. The residents are all interactive and nice as well. The rooms are all new and fully furnished! As a current resident i was skeptic at first because of the size, but it actually isnt an issue. The apartments are cozy and i made my feel like home. The apartment location is convienient, probably a 3-4 minute walk to Texas A&M campus and a 8 minute drive to Blinn.

I am a current resident here and I really enjoy all of the different amenities that you guys have to offer. The gym is by far the cleanest and most updated gym I've had in my time here in College Station. The staff is also very friendly everytime I pass the front desk to get to my class.

I saw Ruth and Elizabeth outside of the corner bar, they spoke to me about some of the cool specials and stuff that are going on over there. I think that I might stop by for a tour, the offer 6 month leases since is perfect because I am graduating kinda early! They seemed pretty well versed in all the questions that I asked them. They also let me take some cool items for free!! what better than free stuff!!

Pretty good place to live. All new appliances. The parking garage can be a little tight but overall, good place to live, close to campus, and good for the price

Honestly the traditions is the best place Ive lived in college. The workers are incredibly friendly and everything is catered for the residence convenience! I wake up everyday and adjust my daily route so I can see if there is anything interesting goin on in the lobby. This was he best decision Ive made this year!

I toured the complex to find an apartment for my daughter for Fall of 2017. It's nothing like the old google reviews say. It's basically brand new. Everything, I mean everything has been replaced. It's a really nice complex. Full size appliances including washer and dryer. All new furniture in apartments. My daughters only dislike is closet space. Closet is about the size of dorm room but she says she can make it work. A lot of storage under bed including a dresser. Parking garage with direct access to the apartment building. Looks like good security systems around complex. All new amenities. sits right across street from campus. 14 minute walk to MSC / Rudder Tower.

It's the best dorm I've been in. The staff at the food cafe could do with a little smile though

The Tradition at Northgate is a great place for an incoming freshman to transition from the home life to a dorm setting. The fact that you have your own bedroom is personally very comforting as you have your own space to study and unwind. The 3rd floor Academic Success Center is very helpful in providing free tutoring when you need it and they are open late to accommodate for busier schedules. The fact that you have a meal plan takes one variable out of the equation that you don't have to worry about. The distance from campus is a big bonus as I can get from Tradition to any where on campus within 10-15 minutes (on bike). There is the slight problem of cleaning as the maid service is not on a regular schedule but they are more than ready to clean if you ask for their help. I personally have one of the upgraded suites and it was a smart decision as all the furniture and flooring are new and extremely good looking. You are also given the ability to paint your room to your heart's desire which gives creative people a chance to try a hand at personalizing their room to their taste. I am very close with the RA's as they make sure that you are enjoying your experience at the Tradition. The fact that they take a personal interest in trying to get to know you and include you in activities is a very good feeling. I have made some friends here that I know are going to stay with me for a while. The Tradition at Northgate is genuinely a good place to call home for the academic year.

The cafe food is really good and they mix it up a lot. I have a one bedroom unit and it's really cute and the perfect size. I usually walk or ride my bike to campus and it's super close! Love love love!

It's pretty ok. I see many people complaining about the food and internet so I will get take on that. I personally liked the food. Nothing can go wrong with unlimited pizza and salad bar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good too. But Breakfast is same everyday. You have eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffle, fruits, unlimited cereal bar, yogurt and oatmeal. Some might say it sucks, but what more can you ask for BREAKFAST. Lunch and dinner are different everyday, but their menus do kinda get repetitive. But I didn't mind at all. You get Taco, Burrito, hot dog, burger, enchilada, gumbo, curry, ham and etc. Again, what more can you ask for? For cafe food, it was pretty good and I didn't have to worry about missing a meal. Internet was a bit problematic on first semester. There were many network crashes when the entire internet went down and people complained a lot. But on second semester, it seems like they fixed it alright. Not sure if it's to convince residents to stay. It might get slow again (idk). It is pretty close to campus, but it's not the closest. RISE is much closer. But it is closest to the Northgate, which is kinda pro and con at the same time. Trad's got freebirds and Antonio to feed late night studying students, but they're not 24 hour open like McDonald at RISE (but then again, it's McDonald so..). You got good study (or hangout) area in lobby on every floor. You also have new ping pong table and pool table. The pool is not as nice as you might think though. It might be photogenic but not that much of big deal. I hardly saw anyone use it. Laundry room is the only thing that I seriously hated. Nothing is wrong with machines themselves though. But to work the machines, you have to get a card (free to get) and fill it up with money and swipe to use. But the machine that you use to charge the card doesn't accept $1 bills. It only accepts $5 bill and above. It's just dirty ass trick to force students to put more money in their laundry card. I'm not staying for another year because of personal, irrelevant reasons, but people should try Trad out and decide for themselves if they like it or not. Ps: Choose A building in your preference. It's better. Pps: Be aware of bird shit that might hit your bike, window, or, if really unlucky, your head.

It's pretty good. I liked the food (maybe cause i'm not a picky eater) and I made a lot of friends here. Internet connection can use a little work but it's good. I'm not staying for another year, but I do recommend others to give Trad a try and experience for themselves. It gets pretty noisy on weekends cause of Northgate in front, but I didn't mind cause I'm heavy sleeper. RAs were friendly enough and so were the staffs. Rooms are definitely nicer than on campus ones, and it's convenient that campus is pretty close. Do bring a bike though. PS: Unless you're really close friends, don't room with your high school friends. You know, those "I kinda know you and we talked from time to time" people from high school. Just don't do it. PPS: Be aware of the bird shit that just might hit your bike, window, and, if really unlucky, your head.

Nothing but freshmen live here. At night, being so close to NorthGate, it gets very loud. Food starts out great but towards the end of the year they start to slack off. Cleaning service does hardly anything, I had the same dead cricket in my room for about a month. Fire alarm loves to go off about twice a month for no reason. Management fails to mention that when school is not in session, that they will not serve the kids any food. Had a lot of problems with Wifi in the beginning but slowly got better. An elevator was broke for the longest time so if you were running late to class, this would put you even farther behind. Traditions fails to mention that when you have visitors, they only give out 2 hour permits and if you want your guest to stay longer than 2 hours, they have to renew the permit every time. Finding a spot in visitor parking is terrible as well. When it would rain, water would leak into my room and become very humid. The microwaves provided are very low wattage, would take around 8 minutes to just pop popcorn. The showers had barely any pressure and hardly ever got hot. Yes all I have mentioned is cons because the cons out weight the pros. Only pro was how close you are to campus and to have utilities included. Other than that, not worth the money.

I lived in the Traditions my freshman year, and I think that it is perfect for a first year student. The RA's make a legitimate effort to hold social events and give everyone an opportunity to make friends and meet people. I met so many people there that I still talk to. It is so nice to have your own room, although they are small, it's better than sharing a room. There were a few things that bothered me like the food and cleaning service coming in and waking me up, but all in all I have great memories from living at the Traditions and would recommend specifically first year students.
