This is the worst managment company Ive ever dealt with. They let me pay rent for 6 months for an empty apartment while I searched for a sublet, and then when I finally found a sublet they turned them down and said they were going to rehab the apartment. Such a disgusting thing to do to a 23 year old paying rent in 2 cities. Do not rent from these people.

Horrible management team. Tom Vollman who manages the entire company (or at least so he says) isn't the most honest guy around.
He tried to convince me that it should cost $75 for someone to come up the stairs and unlock my door saying that the worker was coming from Schaumburg.
Meanwhile, the maintenance worker told me himself that he's been living in the building for 8 years.
Unreasonable policies and even more unreasonable management team.
Definitely moving out ASAP!!!

I've been here since last September and live on the top floor. The elevator has been going in and out for over six months. They make excuses every time you call and basically run you in circles. I'm tired of having to walk up 14 flights of stairs after a long days of work. It's definitely not worth the 2,000 dollars a month. If your looking for a place, look elsewhere. When my lease up I'll be happy to be out of here

I can't take it anymore. I've rented a studio from them in the Edgewater neighborhood for almost 3 years.
To put it succinctly, I'm a clean person. I have very minimal furniture, no clutter, I vacuum every day, and I clean my bathroom and do laundry once a week. My apartment is in pristine condition.
That being said, I've dealt with two MAJOR pests.
Rats and bedbugs. Rats. And. Bedbugs.
Rats.
And.
Bedbugs.
I inform maintenance the MOMENT I suspect there's a pest. This is key: They're quick to deal with the issue as long as it conveniences them.
My most recent issue are bedbugs. They let me know someone will come by my apartment on Monday. Today is Friday. I do not have a place to stay in the meanwhile. They have not offered to pay for a hotel, slash my rent, or find someone to come in sooner (I even offered to find an exterminator myself). My inconvenience doesn't matter to them as long as I'm paying rent on time.
Same applied when I found a rat scurry across my kitchen floor.
THEY DO THE ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM IN ORDER TO BE LEGALLY CONSIDERED "DUE DILIGENCE." DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING MORE FROM THEM.
Oh, you have a rat somewhere in your studio? Here, let's put up two sticky traps and caulk your baseboards. Let us know if it gets stuck!
Oh, you can't sleep in your own bed at night because you're getting eaten by bedbugs? Here, let's see if we can have someone drop by next week. Oh, by the way, it's best if you're home when they come. ('Cause it's not like I have a full-time job.)
Oh, and my rent goes up next month. I wish my new six-legged roommates were contributing to that bill

If I could give zero stars to this management company I would. Slum like living conditions, horrid service time, and incompetent agents. NEVER RENT THROUGH THEM!
