Basically, this is the cheapest 1b1b with wash&dryer in unit you can get in Auburn. Warm and efficient office people. Quiet and cozy environment. The maintenance is very good. They will fix everything for you in minutes! The unit are a little old but works for me anyway. Pet friendly, no other charges except non refundable pet deposit. Always easy to park. The only thing is that the rent rises every year since I moved in.
Rent constantly rises, hot water heater constantly goes out after being "fixed" cannot wait to leave!!

Not a fan, i will NEVER sign me lease again for next semister, the manager of the complex is very very rude she needs to be fired, everyone that has asked me where to live i told them not summer brooke and they have told their friends as well. i will NEVER recomend this place to anyone. I had to beg and beg the mantence people to come around and fix things and took weeks.

The apartment unit its self was decent, really needed some renovations. I got charged for all of the renovations they decided to do, including ones they were supposed to have done before I moved in. The office workers are not very nice and can say some really rude things. They do regular inspections (I had 3 in one month at one point) and the office people will let themselves into your unit without even giving notice first.
Also, do NOT expect to get your deposit back no matter how well you keep your unit. They will find any reason to refuse to return it. Take pictures of everything and get a copy of everything in writing.
They do try to keep the grounds looking decent but there is a big issue with dog poop every where and the pool is always dirty.

I Dont know why the other user deposit was $500 , but ours was only $300 & it states $300 on the website. I would definitely advise someone to live here.

I had the same scenario as the other user. I was contacted and told that my apartment was ready for move in, but when I arrived with my parents and fiance (now wife) they had people in there scrubbing and cleaning. The place smelled horrible, and there were many problems with the place (fridge was not cleaned, hot water heater was broken, fixture covers were missing). I did not get my washer/dryer, that they were supposed to supply, for about 2 weeks after move in. My wife was always having sinus problems and we believe there may be a mold problem. I have recently moved out of Summerbrooke after staying there for a year and a half, and I left the place spotless. My wife and I cleaned the place top to bottom and made sure that everything was ready for the next tenant. I just received my security deposit back and I only got $165 out of $500 back. I was charged for general cleaning, paint, carpet shampoo, and etc. I can understand a few charges maybe, but out of the 4 places I have lived in Auburn, this is the first time I have not got my full deposit back. Do yourself a favor and look else where, this is no place you want to call home.

When I moved in I received a dirty apartment with a toilet full of mold. The manager tried to make me pay for an electric bill that was for the 2 months prior to my move in. AND when I moved out she kept my deposit, and the apartment was in as good of shape and as clean as it could be. I wouldnt move in this place.
