I lived in Colony club from 2010 to 2016, and now it is demolished. There is going to be a new apartment. However, the staffs should be the same.
Good old things:
(1) Rent is relatively low. My unit is 2B2B, and I paid $450/mo. for 5 years and $475/mo. for 1 year. The rent also covered the internet and cable fees.
(2) super near to the FSU campus. And it is also very good location to walk to football stadium.

Bad old things:
(1) Manager Renee may cause you having a bad day, even though she wrote " having a great day" in each email.
(2) My unit is somewhat too old. The dinning room ceiling collapsed once due to the heavy rain and roof damage, and fortunately no one harmed.
(3) As it is very near to campus, one also has to expect there could be more parties at night.
(4) You sometimes encounter roaches.

Colony Club is awful, old, and smelly. I think part of the reason the staff/management can be so rude is because they're overwhelmed with how horrible the property is. Cesar and Renee can be nice at times; the maintenance guys are super cranky and have a very loose definition of the word "emergency".
This place has roaches, mold, and really old, dirty bathrooms (which can and will flood). It's student housing so I wasn't expecting a five-star experience, but it's bad. Would not recommend.

Apartments are extremely old and outdated. No lighting in the rooms. No amenities (if that is what you're looking for). If you're in school, there are families and non-students who live here. No washer and dryer. A Pro is it's SUPER close to FSU campus and the stadium. Still not worth it. There is currently a petition going around for mold being found in someone's apartment. I wish I would've read the reviews before signing, listen to them. I signed without touring the property. The website is misleading. "The Point" on their website means High Point apartments. Which is a totally different set of apartments. I've lived in many apartments in Tallahassee...this is the worst.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will hate it. If there was an option to give less than a one star I would have. I moved out here in September of 2015 and have had problems ever since. I wish I would have read the reviews about this place before I moved out here but I know now that I will most definitely not be renewing my lease here! The place does not have good insulation everything molds fast. I have to keep my bread in the refrigerator or else within two days the bread molds. They will try to scam you out of your money and charge you for things you don't owe them. Once they said I owed $576 but when I went down to the office all of sudden it was that I owed $229 if you don't check them, they will try to get over on you. When I first moved out here, they gave me my keys, then three days later said I owed $800 if that was the case why did you give me my keys??? Especially after I just paid you a $854 deposit. Then said oh no it was $629. The people are shady! If you are looking for a 1/1 like i was, DO NOT MOVE HERE explore your options more. The reviews you read on this place are REAL and TRUE.

I recently found someone to take over my lease because it was absolutely filthy living here. Don't fall for the excuse they give you on why they can't give you an actual tour of a unit. They know how dirty it is here. This place was built in 1972 and I can tell you that everything is still old including the terrible appliances. These people are so cheap that the apartments don't even come with a MICROWAVE. There's roaches and mildew everywhere in the apartments. They allow a lot of non students here that are 28+ in age. I have seen a lot of shady activities and drug transactions in the back of this complex. I used to come back from class and walk by a bunch of bummy looking people that stand outside and smoke cigarettes and blacks all day long. This place is filled with single mothers that have their babies running around and making noise. You also don't even have your own washer and dryer in your apartment. They charge you $1.50 just for one cycle of either washing or drying clothes in the nastiest equipment ever. Just one drive around the complex will convince you of how terrible it is to live here. This place is an absolute dump that needs to be demolished. Oh by the way, the living rooms don't even come with lights. You're gonna be signing a lease for a place your gonna sleep, study, cook, and relax in so please choose wisely. It only took me a month and a half to realize that this wasn't a place for me to continue my studies in since none of my roommates we're even college students. Prepare to be embarrassed if you sign here. Go look online for other places.

You will waste your time and energy waiting for it and dropping by the office. It is so unpleasant. Every time they say "It will take time to do the paper work and arrange all residents, but it does not make sense to me any more.

This was the absolute worst place I have ever lived in. Management is HORRIBLE! I had management barge into my apartment, completely unannounced, on multiple occasions. The apartments are ridiculously tiny and filthy. Appliances were always breaking and maintenance never fixed them. BEWARE of hidden fees, even long after you have moved out!! There was black mold all over the windows of the apartment, especially in the bedrooms. The entire year I lived there, my skin was breaking out due to the poor water quality (I have never had skin problems in my life). The laundry facility is a scam and the internet is ALWAYS down. For the price of rent you can find a place that is way nicer to live in, with management that actually cares about their tenants. I would recommend living in a garbage can before signing your soul over to this place.

Hate it. Currently live here and rent is 600, but after their hidden administration charges of $50 and money for laundry and utilities it comes out to 850+. I have mold,broken door and dirty carpet that has not been taken care of after months of living here. When i went in to discuss it with the manager renee she said i was being rude because she didn't want to address any of the problems.

Biggest complaints:
- Internet speeds are horrifically slow. Sometimes we walk to Starbucks or the College of Medicine to check blackboard. We've contacted the property manager multiple times about this issue -- No improvement yet.
- Different bedroom sizes. There's a tiny crappy bedroom, a medium bedroom, and a grandmaster large bedroom. This created a dilemma for us at the beginning of the year because it was hard to decide who would get shafted with the tiny room.
