Haven't lived here in FIVE YEARS and Comcast is now trying to charge me $150 for the cable box Chapel Terrace provided and paid for. Most disgusting apartment I ever lived in and they're still haunting me. Wish there were an option for zero stars.

Honestly the worst place I've ever lived in and not even because of the apartment itself but because of the people and the management. Apparently they are renovating but I think the most work needs to be the people who work at the office and the management. Most of the employees (excluding one) are extremely rude and I would discourage anyone from living here or any of their sister properties unless the management completely switched over to someone who actually knows what customer service is and how to treat tenants. So happy I found a better place for a similar price with management who are friendly and trustworthy.

A cute bob tailed stray cat that just walks around but never messes with anyone or anything
Cons:
Some of the office staff were kind of rude for a while but then most of them left and the new staff has been great
Incredibly high utilities (old buildings to blame I'm sure) our highest in a one bedroom was $250
One pool closed by the city of tallahassee(I don't even want to know why) and the other has no functioning chairs
There was a lot of loud music at night for a while but it stopped after about a year and a half
Minor bug problem but if you live in Florida it's sometimes expected especially in old buildings.
Overall I loved it here but there were minor bumps in the road. Regardless I always recommend it to people I know. Just make sure to have the city come out to make sure all doors and windows are sealed and to stock up on energy efficient bulbs and things that they give you!

This place was horrible. So glad i only had to live here for 3 months. Many many issues. The internet would be cut off due to failure to pay on their account. My entire bathroom wall shook when using the shower. They caulk everything which never fixes the issue and looks diagusting. Upon moving in they never fixed any of my maintenance request after filling out my move in sheet. There are indeed roaches, the huge palmetto bugs.It took 6 weeks for them to come fix my shower after reporting the problem numerous times. Oh and dont think you'll get any privacy, the walls are paper thin. I could hear my upstairs neighbors bed creaking on the floor constantly. My roommate was nasty, he never cleaned out his cats litter box and sprayed everywhere. Then they tried to put the blame on me after i moved out. On move out day the majority of the complex was moving out and they only had one person in the office 30 mins before keys had to be handed in.

I would give this place -5 stars if I could. I lived in a 1/1 and in the middle of February they gave everyone in 1/1's a 5 DAY notice to relocate to their sister property because the balcony wasn't safe, no exceptions or they would get fined. I lived here for almost 2 years they could of made better inspection arrangements towards the end of the previous leasing periods instead of mid Feb, all while still trying to get residence to renew. Very inconvenient, unprofessional. and their sister properties are in worse shape. Not worth the stress

Just moved in and I already dislike it. Itis close to FSU's campus but it is not worth any of the problems. The staff is rude, but if you need to speak to someone, just talk only to Sarah. They said my work order of a sink leak is not an emergency so they have yet to do anything. I refuse to live anywhere that is a sister complex or under the same management as this place.

Not fair at all - VERY POOR!!! Management is rude and patronizing thinking that all residents should put up with problems because "no apartment is perfect" in fact all apartments are terrible and will not be fixed. Maintenance is lazy and nothing gets fixed without multiple attempts. No one in the office thinks you should get upset about anything or they will not do anything for you. The apartment I am in now had mold in the bedroom and kitchen and all they did was paint over it and recarpet the room. I told them I didn't want to move into the unit because of the mold and they wouldn't let me move units because they spent extra money on having the carpet redone just for me. It is the cheapest carpet they could've picked - we asked the people who installed it. We have had multiple problems with the shower tile (where the mold in the bedroom came from) and it has been caulked multiple times and still experiencing water damage/mold in the other bedroom. The tiles need to be replaced and they continue to caulk them. The last resident kicked the door in and all they did was glue the broken piece back to the door frame. Our fridge has a broken seal and they do not have the money to fix it. The only thing they have replaced in here is the stove and that was only after it sparked and burned a hole in the pan. STAY AWAY.

The worst living experience of my life. I don't know how I lived here for 3 years.
My ac has never worked properly and for the last year it has been completely broken. They tried to patch it up occasionally for over a year, I was lied to by several managers that a new ac unit was ordered and going to be installed. Eventually they told me that instead of fixing my ac they were going to move me into another shitty apartment with its own host of problems.
The management here is lazy, cheap, incompetent, and places all the blame on you for anything that needs to be fixed, replaced, etc.
Please don't move in here, this place is THE worst! Their units are way overpriced and all are faulty in some way or another, the complex owners have no money and won't spend anything to fix anything, the managers here are just terrible people. STAY AWAY! Let these guys fail and go bankrupt as they deserve.

Very nice apartments overall.. I really like the space, and enjoy being able to open the back screen door.. However, the maintenance is very slow.. I've been here for 2 months, and I put a request in the first day that hasn't even been touched.. Also, myself and my neighbor had a septic pipe overflow this weekend, and its still not fixed because all they did was send a plumber to tell them how to fix it.. I would have rather he had fixed it himself, as opposed to waiting around for the maintenance guy to maybe fix it.. I like it here a lot, but this maintenance issue is a problem
