Queen Anne Neighborhood Summary

Just north of downtown, the Queen Anne neighborhood is as affluent as it sounds. Sandwiched between Elliott Bay and Lake Union, this area has more than its fair share of waterfront property and views. The Southwest Queen Anne Greenbelt, for example, looks out over the water toward the West Seattle neighborhood. Kerry Park is known for its view of the Seattle Space Needle, downtown, and Mount Rainier. Housing here isn’t cheap, but many of the rental options are homes and apartments with two or more bedrooms and plenty of space, so splitting the rent is easy.

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
