Two summers in a row, Ms. Destiny at High View Place has been extremely helpful getting me set up with somewhere to live. Very easy to read lease agreements & documents, pretty cheap rent, & nice pool and workout areas. Very laid back (mostly younger) staff & clientele.

It's okay....rows and rows and even more rows of the same building over and over again. Looks like they painted the buildings different colors in order to break the monotony. The colors are lively though. It's typical college student living quarters. 2 bedroom, each with their own bathroom, shared living area and kitchen. That's it. Standard college student living quarters.

This place was nicely priced and with in our budget. But after only just moving in 2 months ago my truck was broken into and vandalized early this morning. It would be helpful if they had better security so the students could feel safe. And for the safety of all who live here the security needs to be re evaluated in addition to potentially adding more security around the complex patrolling the parking lot. The complex need to be updated and spend the extra money on installing security cameras for the safety of the students who live here. We live in a high tech world can anyone tell what apartment complex do you know of that dont have security cameras? High View Living.

Been looking for an apartment for our daughter who'll be attending UTSA in the Summer. The Manager (Rashaad?) was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with choosing High View Place for her. The community is beautiful and clean and all the employees seemed genuinely nice, yet professional. Thanks so much for standing out as true professionals even in a college environment!

I have lived here for almost a year and overall I have had the worst experience for living in my first apartment. The only positive thing I can say is that the rent is cheap compared to other apartments and the apartments are big and have lots of space.The negative is that management is horrible! I have had a problem with my neighbors playing loud music all hours of the night for months and when I call the front office I get the run around..complained so many times and nothing gets done and still having this issue.its ridiculous! I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to live here.

WORST place I have ever lived at by far. Maintenance request that I have put in never get fixed. First moved in and doors had holes on them and were broken. Counter falling apart and broken when I first moved in. Promotions are all false and untrue. Staff not very helpful at all. This place needs a full take over from another company if it plans to be successful at all.

Well this place has its problems like any other apartment, the management team is what makes this apartment great. Anytime that I had problems that needed immediate attention, the property manager himself would personally see me to help me solve my problems. The maintenance crew was also very effective in fixing any problems that arose. Out of the management team of all the apartments nearby, I believe Highview has one of the best management teams. Even better than some of the more pricey Apartments

Fitness center is terrible. Most equipment is broken or stolen. There is trash everywhere. Trash in the plants, in trees, on the stairs, in...

Fitness center is terrible. Most equipment is broken or stolen. There is trash everywhere. Trash in the plants, in trees, on the stairs, in the parking spaces. Occasional party and loudness. But the thing that I like most is the location of the apartments, and the shuttle makes its stops here at High View.

TLDR: This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Don't move here! Run Fast and run Far!!!! I don't want to write a "negative ranty" review. The office is notorious for blaming their ratings on the fact that "People only leave reviews if they are upset. They never talk about the good things". I should start off by saying the price for this place is great! Just to clear any misgivings. They did let me move in at a weird time, which I appreciated. It was on the first floor, which I asked for. My first year there was comparatively peacefully. Compared to a lot of other apartments, this place is probably the cheapest especially if Fido is coming to college with you. They even have ONE doggy clean up area for the entire complex. In fact my first year would probably have been a 4 star or more because there is no way I would have known the NIGHTMARE I would experience later in my stay. You get to meet lots of new and interesting people... Because you'll receive no notice about having a new roommate. That's right RANDOM people are allowed to come and go as they please with keys given to them by the office! Hopefully they are courteous enough not to run up the electric bill $100 because they will have absolutely no requirements to pitch in for it. True Story! Groups of strange men, " who are not associated with the High VIew Place" and "can steal things"(office MANAGER'S words not mine), are given keys to your bedroom.They are also free to come and go without giving you any type of heads up. God forbid you ask the office to write down the time these FULL GROWN "maintenance" men will be entering because the staff will laugh in your face. It's actually pretty funny because any type of maintenance you REQUEST takes ages to get acknowledged but they are more than happy to send "maintenance" in for repainting the living area while you're still living there. (Please note that the walls were fine.) Paint fumes? What's that? They host all kinds of parties and events. You even get free food! This is definitely a party goer apartment. But don't take my word for it. You could take a casual stroll. There is absolutely NO SECURITY to stop you. True Story! Jello shots, broken beer bottles, and flyers litter the ground. This apartment brings a whole new meaning to surround sound entertainment. Literally you will be surrounded by obnoxiously loud music! I won't lie. I actually liked hearing the random bass of what sounded like techno music on my off days. I'm the type of person to always play tv in the background so I have background noise. It really didn't bother me. There are yearly infestations that takes awhile to get an exterminator for. Sometimes it's crickets sometimes its fire ants. And there are fleas in the grass so I hope Fido likes tapeworms... True story! I walked out to my patio and saw a huge brown present crawling with tapeworms! The office staff are really friendly at times but only because they will lie about any and everything. If it is not in word for word writing, I wouldn't trust them. It's one thing to lie during the tour. It is something completely different to lie about fees and policies after you have taken my money for a year. Honestly, I don't understand why someone would lie about policies the way they do. It means they either don't care or want to see you suffer. If I calmly ask about subletting, just tell me it's not allowed. Don't look me in the eye tell me it's okay and then take everything back after I have found a subletter and moved out! They have a decent clubhouse with an office center. I'm running out of positive spins. Sometimes the printer has ink? They have a basic little gym in case you too lazy to go the fully stocked free gym at UTSA.

Generally a good place. If you aren't super picky and don't mind the occasional loud party. Everything is about average. Biggest issue that concerned me is that the front office won't notify you if you received a package. They also doesn't seem to refrigerate packages that say "perishable" I have an autoimmune disease and I take a medication that has to be refrigerated and taken at a specific time. If I'm not at home the package obviously goes to the front office. And because I'm not notified, the package sits at room temperature for far too long. I've had to rush order medication overnight far too many times because of this. If you're a healthy human being than this place is just fine to live at. Surprisingly maintenance staff is very helpful and nice compared to office staff.

The apartment itself is fine. My main issue is with the management team. They are incredibly disorganized. When I have questions I will often get different answers depending on who happens to be working that day. No one is ever on the same page. They will also just forget to do things. For example, I opted into Peak Protection at the beginning of my lease, and I included the fee in my rent checks. 6 months later I discovered that Highview never made the change and I had gone that whole time paying for insurance that wasn't covering me. Simply put, it would be hard to find a more incompetent administration. Also, if you do live here make sure your unit was actually cleaned as they claim. My apartment on move in day was filthy, not to mention that it had holes in the wall and my bedroom door was broken.

Great place to live!! I signed my lease right after taking a tour! The location is great if you don't want to deal with morning traffic getting to school. They also have the UTSA shuttle that runs every 15mins. I recommend checking the place out, it's worth it!

In the apartment you have your own bathroom in your room. You also have a washer and dryer in your apartment which makes it very convenient throughout the school year. I definitely recommend it to anyone starting college or is currently in school.

After hunting for student apartments, I finally decided to call High View my next home! My roommates as well as myself are very excited to move in within the next few weeks. We signed our lease with Miguel, and I am so glad that we did! He was so helpful when we went on the tour, answering all of our questions that we had before we even had a chance to ask them! He was considerate and very patient when we were signing our lease and decided who was going to room with who, and which rooms we actually wanted. We had very specific requests and Miguel has done more than expected to fulfill our needs!
