I wouldn't recommend this place. Maintenance is lazy they halfway fix things or don't show up at all. Hallways are filthy and smell bad. I am to embarrassed to have company over. There's dog mess everywhere you have to watch where you are walking.Domestic fights in the hallways. Tenants blasting music at all hours of the night. Tenants allow their kids to run around in the hallways. The walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing. Management leave notes on the doors everyone ignores and continue breaking the rules.Also the strong smell of weed that gets in your apartment is nauseating. I think this place could be a lot better if management would enforce the rules instead of making excuses for the tenants who are breaking the rules.

Do NOT - I can't stress enough - do NOT live here! Update 1/17: got a letter on our door saying they wont renew our lease. While the people still live upstairs and yell and stomp on our ceiling. Petty, greedy people who own this place. We had already told them we planned on moving. The situation was handled callously at best and this isn't a place for families. We were warned before we moved in. :/ Everyone has a right to feel safe where they live, even more so from management. 12/17: Nothing has been resolved. Their response to this is superficial, because they're hurting financially to get more tenants (wonder why!) And trying to warn others about living here in our review has more than peeved management and corp. They take the abusers side, who now says that we do to them what they've been doing to us! And the manager, Jenna, believes them and treats us like LIARS (even with video proof!) Funny thing: they only ever complained AFTER they found out it was us complaining and when we tried getting management to do something about it! They even told us other people living here had complained too, and they thought they were the targets of this insanity! So you've got 2 different families (WHO DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER) saying the same thing! Yet she insinuates that we must be doing something to deserve this treament! Her responses: "how do you even know they're screaming at you? Maybe they're screaming at their wife." "Your kids should be quiet after ordinance time." "Maybe they ARE doing it to the other people." Nevermind the fact that they have a No Tolerance Policy for domestic violence!! Nevermind that them doing it to others is bad too! NEVERMIND that our children don't have the cognitive abilities to understand the situation and somehow STOP CRYING and banging around - THAT'S WHAT BABIES DO! Nevermind that they ADDRESS us in the video, saying they're going to "come down to us and teach us a lesson!" The neighbor even vamped it up on holidays - I spent them crying and chasing my children around begging them to be quiet! They pretend to be family friendly, but really they take advantage of low income families! ALSO, as nice as others are working here, it doesn't really matter, the moment Jenna stepped in all empathy and sympathy dried up and now they treat us awkwardly too. :( This has been extremely traumatic; I'm even looking up counselors. I have no idea how this is going to effect my kids developments, but my daughters now having nightmares and waking up screaming which only serves to peeve them off more, then they stomp more through their apartment, blare their music or play fetch with their dog all night! Its super loud, wakes up my kids and then they irritates them too!! But the manager's solution is a meeting when the police specifically told us NOT to have any contact with these people and, "well, the police aren't me (Jenna)!" But then they say, "oh, you don't have documentation from the police!" Or they tried to rope us into moving to another unit. But with a whole new YEAR LEASE. ------ They care about MONEY NOT YOUR SAFETY! We complained for months that our neighbors were stomping on our ceiling when our kids made any noise, and partying until 2 am and keeping our kids up at night. They said we had no proof. So finally after calling the cops multiple times, we were ready to officially complain vs anonymously. Well, that backfired because then the cops told our neighbors it was us who was reporting them and they vamped it up! FINALLY I was able to get them on camera PUNCHING our ceiling! And screaming threats at us through their windows! Telling us they're going to hurt us! This went on for an HOUR AND A HALF! On two separate occasions! While my daughter cried that she was SCARED and I was hysterical from fear. But the manager insists they must be decent people even refusing to watch the videos. The other reviewer is also completely right about the smell of weed and the non-responsive maintenance calls. It took them almost 2 months to fix my A/C and it was 85 degrees in July and August!

Terrible for young children. Always broken glass outside! Smells like weed all the time from the neighbors. People fighting screaming in the halls and the management doesn't care about you at ALL. You are just a check to them they refuse to work with you and if you run into a temporary financial issue (switching jobs) they literally laughed in our face! No sympathy, no manners. Do NOT move here any complaints the management throws in the trash and tells you to call the cops.

If I could go a single day without smelling my neighbors weed, that would be great. It's absolutely disgusting, it comes in from the bathroom vent, from outside when we open the windows, from the hallway. In addition to this, we have had to contact management multiple times to fix our non-working bathroom sink faucet, our ridiculously low kitchen sink water pressure, and yet to have anything fixed from the previous tenants stay. (Missing blinds, missing door handle, chipped bathtub paint...not even sure why the tub was painted in the first place) none of this has been handled. We also stopped receiving notifications that our packages were in the main office. (Very small complaint but still we were believed this was common place to happen, open communication-and such.) Reaching out through Google reviews was our last resort. Update:// 01/09/2018 It took just near four months for repairs to come in because a large portion of the maintence and leasing office crew had left. I dont want to assume anything but my guess is they were fired. Maintence came and fixed 3/4 of the issues but it took a few days of tag to get them in. (We signed a waiver saying they could repair when we werent home but they instead placed sorry we missed you door tags up) we never did get a few minor things fixed but they were extremely minor We had no idea what was happening in the office and felt unsure of how to proceed with payment. After being told multiple things from some of the original staff-then being told different by the new-things became muddled. I sent my then boyfriend over to discuss an issue, before he could even finish someone had already cut him off and told him its not their problem. Up until that point we were ready to do what we had to, to fix the issues at hand. For context he is a very relaxed guy, never yells or hardley gets frustrated. So when he came back to the car irritated as all hell I knew something was wrong. Hes also not a pusher so he wont ever bring up the same topic twice. He explained that he was immediately dismissed and wasnt given the opportunity to explain. I couldnt believe it, everyone I had specifically talked to seemed extremely friendly and welcoming. I went forward to search for the two agents that oversaw our lease agreement just to find theyve found work elsewhere. Not too helpful on my end. Shortly after this domestic disputes began in our building daily (nightly). Im not one to involve myself unless it reaches fear for ones safety. Police were called multiple times, doubtful any charges were ever made. My boys are so little that anything louder than a stern no is frightening. I cant tell you how many nights I had to hold my babies in my bed and anonymously call the non-emergency number. After my exs experience with coming forward to the office about issues I just didnt feel comfortable doing so. We took an eviction. We didnt have to, but wed much rather have that on our record than stay. It was not the welcoming environment we were promised. Though the staff had always maintained professionalism with myself (seriously some of the nicest people work there) somethings just didnt add up nor feel right. The Maples has the potential to be wonderful apartments if the right people get involved and actually care. //Also if I may suggest offering domestic violence victims a confidential support. My heart absolutely breaks for the children and woman/men that have been subjected to their abusers//

The maintenance crew have been incredible here if you have a problem. The management in the past have been wonderful. Attempting to work with new management. We will see what the outcome is and if they will work with me. I will be back to update this outcome.

It sounds like management or an employee was not giving accurate information. Also I see recently many pretty crappy reviews, I know nothing does a business harm more than a bad review so I take each with a grain of salt but one personal review came from a family member. ************************************************ After further thought, review, and visitation The Maples is everything we are searching for. Fair pricing for the area, easy to talk to management, and spacious units. A tenant has 100% possibility to make their apartment their HOME during their leased time. My fianc and I sign our lease next week!

Been living here over a year and just renewed my lease! My apartment is tiny - but perfect fit me. Very reasonable, the staff are helpful. I was expecting this to be a temporary fix when I first signed the lease.. happy to say I changed my mind. They did have a bed bug problem some time back, but did preventative maintenance the moment they found out and my apartment was never affected. They have been in the process of renovating the place and turning around the old Jacato Drive image, I think a lot of the horrible reviews here are those problem tenants who weren't happy about leaving.

I lived here for 12 months and boy I couldn't wait to move out. This is not a good place to raise a family, my entire building had a bedbugs infestation and it was unbearable for me as a grown man. If I had children I wouldn't move in any of these buildings they are not safe in the winter. The building I lived in was never cleaned and always smelled whenever I entered the hallways. I wouldn't bother bringing my lady friend over due to the lack of upkeep. They don't shovel nor add salt on walkways to make it safe for travel. I had fallen on many occasions because of the lack of snow removal and thin layers of invisible ice on sidewalks. Also many other tenants in different buildings are saying they are having these same issues so if you are thinking to move in any of these buildings please do your research before you sign a full year lease. Living here was the worst 12 months of my life.
