Named after Elizabeth Irving who traveled the Oregon Trail with her family in 1851, the historic Irvington district contains the largest intact collections of Queen Anne, Arts and Crafts, Colonial Revival, and Period Revival homes in Portland and the state. Many of these were designed by prominent local architects of the early 20th century.
At the corner of NE 15th and Hancock Streets lies The Irvington Garden Apartments. Featuring 50 studio and one-bedroom apartments in the heart of the Irvington neighborhood, this gated and secured complex is for people who want to experience life, not just live it.
