WHAT'S THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND HOME LIKE?
Honestly, this is one of the coolest neighborhoods in all of Portland. We have our own 4th of July parade, chili cook-off in the Fall, city wide garage sale, and Easter Egg Hunt. There is a strong community in this neighborhood. You'll get a sense of it just driving through it. All the homeowners take great pride in their homes. The intersections have small roundabouts with trees in the middle and old growth timber trees stand throughout the whole city. How cool is that?
The Home: This unit is the main floor and upstairs of a duplex. There is a basement which has been renovated into a mother-in-law suite that has its own separate independent entrance. The home is 3 stories total. You will be residing in the main and upstairs floors. Consider the downstairs tenants your housemates that you will rarely see or engage with, unless you want to! The home is quiet, private, and in a highly desirable neighborhood.
Need public transportation? The house is right next to the bus lines. Better yet, if you want to ride the MAX, the Parkrose Transit Station is located just a few blocks away. That can take you wherever you need to go. If riding to the Timbers/Blazers games is your thing, this is perfect for that as it drops you off at both sporting arenas.
