Paradise Valley Community College

Since PVCC has no on-campus housing, students will need to live locally. In the area of Paradise Valley, part Phoenix, part Scottsdale, most one bedroom apartments are around $600-$650 month, though there are numerous options below $500. With so many options in Paradise Valley, there’s no need to look much further, especially with its low crime rate and affordability. Between Phoenix and Scottsdale, there are endless nightlife options. Whether you want to hit up the casinos in Scottsdale, play pool at Clicks, relax at one of the wine bars, get a beer at Rosie McCaffrey’s Irish Pub, or laugh until you cry at Stand-up, Scottsdale! Comedy Club, there is plenty of nightlife to get into. There are a few strip clubs if you’re into that, like Bourbon Street, which was actually voted one of Arizona’s best strip clubs. The best nightclubs, in my opinion, are the Red Revolver Lounge as it is a bit classier than most in the area, and the Roxy.

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
