DO NOT MOVE IN!!!! Seriously, the people here do NOT care about you or your safety!!! I am pregnant and the people next to me constantly smoke in their apt. The smell is so bad it's causing me to get sick we have told the office and nothing was done about the problem!! I feel bad for the one Maintanance guy they managed to keep around he is so overrun with requests he can't get anything done which is unfortunate for everyone who pays rent to this awful awful place!! It's truly amazing to me how this place is still open! I will be moving out ASAP!

I have lived here for about 6 months and have very few complaints. My neighbors are quiet, I always feel safe, and the office is always friendly. Rent is very affordable. The apartments are cute and the one bedroom is a lot bigger than a lot of other apartments I looked at. The kitchen and eating areas have hardwood floors which make it feel a little more homey. I have had no maintenance issues. The complex offers a pool, a bbq area, and is very open with dog breeds. There are washers and dryers available in the basement, as well. Across from the complex is Towl Park which is really pretty and fun. I am very happy that I chose to rent here and will happily recommend it. My only real complaint is the parking. If you come home before 7 or so though it's not usually bad at all.

Absolutely terrible. Thank god I only have 2 weeks left at these apartments! Yes there is "new management" but they have done absolutely nothing to solve any of the problems. 1- Most simple repairs take 3-4 days to first get assessed, and then another 2 or 3 to be solved. 2- PARKING IS TERRIBLE. 3- The lock to my building's front door has been broken since July of 2015..................... This is unsafe for obvious reasons, but in the entire year that we've been here, they HAVEN'T CARED AT ALL. But I still continue to pay my rent for whatever reason, even though I choose not to stay at the apartments most nights. Wonderful. And when I told them I would be leaving when my lease was over, they demanded to know why. You have to be kidding me... why?! Because I'd rather live anywhere else.

HIGH ALERT!! STAY AWAY!!! I made a huge mistake moving in without considering the bad reviews posted by others and I suffered. For tall those of you who are even thinking about moving to this ghetto, please stay away. This place is very bad. The reasons are.. 1. Parking is really bad. 2. Lots of pot holes and they are not going to fix them. 3. My car got hit and run twice in the past year. 4. For a simple maintenance they take at least 4 days. 5. The hallways smell like pot and drugs.. ALL THE TIME. 6. My friends can't come over because, their car will get towed if they park anywhere on the premises (There are only 10 guest parking spots for the whole property). 7. The walls are really thin and I can always hear everything my neighbors do. 8. They don't have garages ( they only have 6 or so) 9. I can go on and on.... Even though the rent is a little less every month they'll charge extra $10 to $15 for bill processing fee and other service fees along with a high amount of sewer and trash chargers. Altogether it'll be an extra $35 no matter what. I just moved out last month and my stay was a night mare. I'd rather live somewhere that's a little nicer.

My husband and our two children have lived here for almost a year, and we like it. When we call in for repairs, they are usually handled within 24 hours. We haven't had any problems with bugs or bad neighbors. The pool is very nice, as is the gym. The only downside is that parking can be a little tight if you come home after 10:00pm, but they are working on opening up more parking spaces. Also, the towing situation seems to have abated, and we have not seen a tow truck for months. I know that management changed recently, and the new management has been taking huge strides to make this a pleasant experience for tenants. Over the past few months, they have been doing a lot to make repairs (roof, gym, pool), and it seems like a lot is being invested in keeping the property nice. They also started sending out monthly newsletters about improvements being made, which is nice. For the money per month, we find that our apartment has a great value and we're happy with this complex.

Very bad place. I moved in on December, they had all kinds of bugs. Until now they keep sending their pest control and nothing changing. If you have kids don't even think about moving in here. Laundry room is so dirty and they never bother themselves to come and check what's going on. My carpet was so hairy because they allow pets to live in here but when you move out they don't clean it properly. Stinky, dirty place. I lived in other apartments in Omaha, this is the worst one.

I've lived at Park on Center for three years now, so I can give an informed review stating clearly why I won't be back after my lease is up. First, the pros: The landscaping is excellent and the apartments are pet-friendly. My husband and I have a two-bedroom here, and the space is adequate for our needs. The balconies are nice for gardening and there's plenty of space for dogs to run around while on a walk. The complex is right next to a grocery store, the post office and the Interstate, and close to UNO. The cons, unfortunately, outnumber the pros. We've lived here three years, and each year has been worse than the last. The biggest issue for us is that our apartment is falling apart. In the last year, we've had all kinds of maintenance issues: our shower head exploded while I was taking a shower (it was scary!), during the Polar Vortex last winter our windows were sheathed with ice on the INSIDE due to improper sealing (which also drives up our AC bill in the summer, with all the cold air leaking out), our AC was out for almost three weeks in June, our door was splitting so bad the doorknob fell out twice (once after a bad repair job) so the door wouldn't close enough to be locked with the deadbolt, the sliding doors in our closets keep breaking and jamming, and the dryer in our building was broken for about two weeks, spewing out hot air into the hallways and condensing water along the walls. The staff are very slow to get work orders done and require multiple visits or phone calls to the office unless you get mean about it so they take you seriously. So maintenance is a huge issue here. Then, there's the neighborhood. My husband's car has been broken into twice here, and for awhile we had cops at the complex at least twice a month. People would have screaming matches or loud parties at odd hours, and when other residents complain, the office did nothing about it. One of my neighbors smashed beer bottles and coffee mugs on the sidewalk, and make the hallways reek with marijuana, and they still haven't been dealt with even though other people in the building have complained about them. The parking here is terrible, too. They have a towing company come in every night to pick up unauthorized vehicles, and they towed our newly-leased car the night we got it because the office had closed before we could get a new parking sticker, and all the visitor stalls were full. They got us half-off the price of the tow, but it was still $93.50. The staff at the towing company said they tow at least six cars a week here. Finally, the staff is the last big problem. In the three years we've lived here, the staff has changed three times, and they keep getting worse. When we tried to talk to the staff about how we thought it was unfair that they had towed us despite us living here, they got very short with us even though we were polite. They don't call when they say they will, lie about when attempts to contact them were made (for example, they said my husband didn't give them a chance to call him back because he called in the morning, but his phone log placed his call at 1 in the afternoon), are dismissive of resident problems, and make no attempt to show residents that they care about the facility. They say they do walk-arounds to make sure there aren't problems, but it's clear they don't; a junked car was sitting in a prime parking spot for three months, and I had to go into the office twice for them to arrange to have it removed. I used to love living here, but it's gone downhill so fast I can't believe we have to suffer through nine more months of this. Don't be fooled into staying here -- the benefits are only skin-deep.
