I have lived in Avalon Apartments for a year now. Staff is very responsive, efficient, and considerate. One of the best maintenance team I have experienced. Special thanks to Tara, KC, Oscar, and Myrna.Apartment is at a great location - Walking distance to downtown mountain view.
Cons: Apartment itself is a bit dated. It would be great to have double pane windows for noise reduction and newer appliances for kitchen area.
Overall, I like this community, and would recommend it to anyone.

The community is well-maintained and filled with greenery and varieties of flowers which is an absolute delight for any nature lover. Maintenance requests are addressed promptly. Great neighbors too!

Ive lived at Avalon Mountain View for several months now, and I love it! Our initial interest appointment/tour was fantastic and welcoming, and we were able to see the actual available units rather than a staged model. The staff has continued to be just as wonderful as they were during the application process - especially KC, Tara, and the entire maintenance team. They regularly set up fun community events and bring food trucks every Thursday! The team is always super friendly and helpful when answering questions, and maintenance requests are taken care of promptly (even non-urgent ones such as a patio power wash)!
The apartment itself is spacious and renovated while still being a reasonable price. There are lots of opportunities to make it feel like home - we can paint accent walls and plant whatever we want in the patio garden boxes! The grounds are beautiful and theres a nice pool, fire pit, gym, and Amazon hub. The complex is about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown Mountain View, which is great on the weekends.
Overall, its a great place to live, and I highly recommend it!

Any requests are answered quickly (more than prompt; almost comically fast) and with great care. They advocate for their residents' well-being. I have lived here just over a year, and with every request I have submitted I have always received above and beyond service. Staff is always friendly and waves or says hello. Happy to live here!
A quick example with the promptness. I emailed the property manager, Tara, this morning regarding a couch I wanted to get rid of via the city's charged service. I put no timeline regarding response. Within no more than 5 minutes, the maintenance supervisor & technician, Geo & Oscar, were at my door to get a size up of the couch. They advised they could have it taken care of the very next morning (a Saturday!).
This is the best apartment experience I have ever had. It's priced really competitively with other complexes in the area, but when you look at the amenities, safety/crime & overall living experience, you'll see it's well priced under market value.
Not an employee. Not a paid review. Just a happy tenant.
It is a very quiet neighborhood. It has swimming pool, gym and barbecue area.
