I used to live here waaaay back in 1988-1989. It was a good place back then. Management was good and they kept the place in great condition. I lived in the building right on the corner of Clarence St. & Skillman Ave (2024?). I lived in a efficiency unit on the second floor. It was VERY small. If you were to walk in? you're in the the main apt. One rectangle room and a bathroom and a small kitchenette. Sink was on top and below that was a small refrigerator. Perfect for a 18-19 yr old kid. If I were to look out my window I would see Skillman Ave. Believe it or not, my rent was only $275.00/mo. all utilities included Except for phone/cable. No cell phones back then so the only way of communication was a landline. So many years ago but I was just 18-19 yrs old. Again, it was a good place to live back then. But I see it's a slum now. After reading some of the comments, it just makes me sick. BUT! it's the sign-of-the-times. I just thought I share my own experience aaaannd maybe I'm running down memory lane...lol. Look at my attached picture. BTW....do they still have them little efficiency's?
