This historic 1920's vintage hotel building was originally named Hotel Vinograd (meaning "grapes" in Russian) and has recently been remodeled into apartments. Our location is in the heart of Boyle Heights, a neighborhood just East of Downtown LA (just over one mile to the Arts District across the LA River). Cesar Chavez Avenue was originally named "Brooklyn Avenue" until it was renamed in 1996 to reflect the dominantly Latino demographic shift of the neighborhood. The lifestyle here is very rich in urban amenities styling itself after it's Brooklyn namesake. The street is very friendly with an eclectic and vibrant mix of locally owned retail shops and restaurants in abundance. Get serenaded by live Mariachi music while sipping a Horchata from renowned Guisados Tacos across the street!
