As many have said before, do not move here. I have lived in this building for about 18 months and of the last 6 the building has went downhill quickly. The hallways constantly smell like animal excrement, weed, or a mixture of both. I have let the building know several times of these smells only to be greeted with no response. This is extremely embarrassing when having company over. Three packages have been stolen from my door within the last month. The building's employee response being that it was my fault these packages were stolen. The elevators either aren't working, are covered in unknown fluids or have empty cans or bottles of booze on the floor. In the past I've taken stairs only to be greeted by passed out residents in the stairwell. The label of "luxury" on this building is quite a stretch. There are much better building at the same price range that you can find within this area. Avoid this building at all costs. Edit: The elevator doors were completely removed this Saturday with no emailed notice from the office and no warning signs around the doors. Since the elevator was down, I took the stairs, only to find empty beer cans thrown about. As I have previously said, avoid this building.

This is the worst managed property. They promised us new appliances upon moving in as the old ones were beat up from previous tenants. Those new appliances never came. They have the worst portal system for rent payment charging outrageous fees to use a debit card. I moved out in Jan 2017 and we paid an outrageous deposit that wasnt returned.. only place Ive ever lived that I didnt get a deposit back. The apartment was in the exact same shape as was when moved in. And now a year later Im paying someone elses rent because again theyre the worst managed property due to them linking my bank account to someone elses portal. Itll get reversed but thats gonna cost me $25 to have the payment stopped and hours of me calling them (because no ones ever in the office to answer) to remove my bank info. Theyre location will get them interests for living but if you have a second option for an apartment go with it.. Do not live. I guarantee the shine it has goes away fast upon moving in. I have never been more disappointed with a management property and Im 1 in a long list of people disappointed with them.

This place is scary! I stopped visiting my friends here ever since my car got broken into. The neighborhood is so bad. To clarify, it wasn't just in the neighborhood... It was on the property, in their unsecured garage. I went to the office to file the report, and I was rudely dismissed by the staff (obviously playing dumb). They would not help me at all. Where are the security guards? Working gates? Cameras even? THIS BUILDING IS UNSAFE AND MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. First and foremost, the building is unsafe. There is zero security, so cars get broken into nightly and packages get stolen daily. Just a few months ago, a young woman was severely assaulted by two men behind the building. This is a very dangerous place. Without proper security, intruders are constantly roaming the building. Lately, the local homeless have been sleeping in the stairwells. The office has done absolutely nothing to solve the issue. They simply do not care. The incredibly unprofessional office staff (Eric and Frances) are incapable of helping, or even understanding their tenants. They lack basic customer service knowledge, and are clearly in the wrong profession. For the love of God, do not move into this complex. I love Deep Ellum, but I deeply regret moving into Broadstone Ambrose.

This has been the best apartment living I have had in Dallas. Frances has been awesome and more then accommodating in everything that i have needed over the last 2 years. Walking distance from hundreds of restaurants and bars and has a great pool atmosphere during the summer. You are going to spend significantly less then you would in uptown and have a higher quality of living.

I had about 3 days to find a place. I walked into the first apartment with Jonathon (Broadstone staff) and my realtor and was blown away. They offered me reasonable rent, but I didn't act for a few days. When I came back, Jonathon and staff honored my quote and got me setup. Big bang for buck, nice people living here and I find it very safe (although I'm from Chicago). A block away from Deep Ellum and all the fun. ***Most importantly, their staff has helped me out immensely with my tenuous schedule- they got me moved in about a week before planned, they took care of every little problem I might have had, and they have answered all my questions in a timely fashion. I've only stayed here for a couple weeks, but so far so good.

Deep Ellum itself is great, but there are 100 different apartment complex options that are better than this one. The gate to the parking garage was broken at least 50% of the time during our two year stay. There has been some shady behavior happening in some of the apartments there, with the cops called on numerous occasions. On one particular Sunday morning, there was a man screaming for help on top of a car in the parking garage at 7 AM. We finally realized he was just our neighbor who was having a bad trip on drugs, but the cops still had to be called for that, too. Our patio was broken into by a homeless person who attempted to steal some of our things, and it is not uncommon to accosted by many vagrants who wander near the property. The company has falsified paperwork regarding our move-out, and changed the locks on our apartment before our lease is up. They are also refusing to pay us rent that they themselves claim we never should have paid, and are refusing to refund our security deposit without any documentation as to why. This place is absolutely terrible. I've posted a YouTube video with more about our ordeal living here that you can easily find by googling Broadstone Ambrose. If you have any questions about this place, or want proof of the veracity to my claims, please don't hesitate to message me!! I don't want this happening to other unsuspecting people.

The management team is atrocious. We gave our intent to vacate on February 8th. Broadstone Ambrose requires a 60 day notice, therefore we were required to pay rent through April 9th. On April 1st we had our actual move out and then returned to the apartment on April 8th to do a thorough cleaning of the property, retrieve a few more things that we had left there and turn the keys in. However, when we arrived on the 8th we found that the locks had been changed and the entire apartment had been cleaned out already. In doing so, our remaining possessions had been thrown out. When we approached the management team about this, they claimed we actually moved out on March 31st and that we had turned our keys in on April 4th. They also claimed that we had not paid the additional funds for the 9 days in April. When I asked them to pull up our payment records they had no explanation for why their records were off. As of this moment Broadstone Ambrose is refusing to remit our entire deposit and the additional funds we paid for April and have done absolutely nothing to address this issue. We have contacted the Attorney General of Texas and have a lawyer investigating the company. Living in Deep Ellum is great and I highly recommend the neighborhood. But avoid Broadstone Ambrose at all costs.

Location is great and we love our unit but security and management seems to be lacking. Parking gate is frequently left up. 2 months after moving in my husband's $750 bike was stolen. It was locked on a management supplied bike rack in the "secure" area of the parking garage and the rack was cut in half to steal the bike. We went to the office 3 times and asked to speak to the property manager who was never available and we left our phone numbers each time but never received a call back. We ended up filing a police report but still have got no feedback from management after 5 months. Originally the office staff said they would check the security tape and get back to us. Still waiting on that call.

I absolutely love living in the Broadstone Ambrose apartments. I have a ground floor, 2 story loft and it's awesome. Each time someone new visits my apartment, they are just in awe and tell me how cool it is. I didn't know much about Dallas when I moved here in June, but since seeing a lot of areas and apartments, I would still choose mine. The pool area is so tranquil, and the gym is perfect and never crowded. The appliances are great (although I did have the added expense of having to rent a washer/dryer each month). Maintenance requests are always fulfilled in a timely fashion. I can't remember the guy's name (maybe Mike? He is from NJ) but he is great and takes a lot of care in fixing the apartment when there are issues. Jessica and Keith (?) in the office are great. My one and only issue is that the gate is always broken. When I come home from work and it's late, I have a hard time finding a spot. It is always really scary for me to be in the parking garage and have to walk around late because rift raft get in when the gate is broken. People use the parking garage as free parking as just across the street, they charge $10 for parking. Considering we have to pay for parking, it's not fair for us to have to feel unsafe and to share with people that don't live here.

I've lived here a few weeks now. And it's been good so far! The only issue that has happened are my neighbors all around me are so noisy. But that really isn't the apartment complex's fault. I love my new apartment and all the great features they have! And the fact that it is walking distance to everything is fantastic.
